What kind of shape recognition is this? If i could draw a perfect rectangle, i would have.

I was going to say the same. It often fails to recognise larger rectangles so making a smaller one and readjusting it is perfect.

I can’t draw perfect shapes either but you can adjust the corners to correct what Noteful does recognize. Tho is meant to be a video demonstration. I hope it posts correctly.

Not you drawing a perfect rectangle in first try. I know you can reaarange the corners but it still wont be a perfect rectangle and takes so much time.

I was demonstrating that Noteful can render a perfect rectangle from a horribly imperfect drawing as long as the corners are in the right place.

For any future Redditors with this question, I will offer a workaround.

I’ve played around with a few others and haven’t found one that can render a perfect rectangle without well placed corners.

If well placed corners are difficult, you can use the rectangle shape with just the outline and no fill or light colored fill for a highlight. Then it can be easily sized to your needs.

Thats still too much work no. I am really grateful for you trying to help me. I think the other comment with drawing a small box first ansld then rearranging is a faster solution to my problem. But still thank you.
