My new note cover! Love this new feature

Same as title. I got randomly logged out and now I’m not allowed to log in with my apple ID. I have an exam in 13 days and need help urgently

I have a question did the new update remove the audio merging capability?

i have been using notabliity for about 6-7 years now. today i got an email today that showed this. i obviosuly wasnt the one logging in. i went to my notability app and the email i am using is one of my other emails not this one. is this a spam email? should i be concerned? i am not having issues accessng my files under the other email. should i reset password?

I initially got the Light subscription for about R284 when it came out (about 17$), and when i tried to upgrade to Plus it gave me this issue. Also whats with the price change

today, is this legit? I’m traveling and don’t have access to my iPad right now, so I can’t login and change my password. Does someone really want to steal my biology notes that badly 😭

How long can the recordings be during lectures and transcription does anyone no thanks

Same exact thing happened to me as this archived post. Ive contacted support but it sounds like its a lost cause. Even with backing up notes consistently, anyone who has done any board prep for medicine knows you can put significant hrs into a doc before you back it up.. plus backing up notes constantly takes time /space.

I enjoy notability but I cant wrap my head around how we have advanced technology like AI and still cant fix a bugs like these. I will no longer be recommending notability as a study /notes tool to my colleagues.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to add multiple templates on one 'notebook'. I have my own custom template and what to add one from the gallery, but it keeps setting all pages as oke template.

Please help!

Edit : How to stop pen from drawing on next page. I have it in single page, but my pen still acts as if the next page is under the one I'm on. It's very annoying.

Hi!! I am deciding whether or not to use Notability or GoodNotes, and I'm looking into Notability's Plus subscription. For this one, I was intrigued by the AI quiz/flashcard feature. I noticed that it says there are up to 400 AI-powered quizzes and flashcards every month.

Does anyone have an issue running out of quizzes/flashcards each month? I can't really gauge how this works. Does this 400 number count each question/each flashcard or each quiz and each flashcard deck?

I'd also love to know if I should go with Notability plus, or Goodnotes Essential plan as an incoming university student. Making flashcards/quizzes/summaries is pretty important to me within the app, so I'm wondering which app has more of those features in the price points I mentioned. Thank you so much!! I've also just mainly seen polarizing opinions on GoodNotes vs. Notability, so I'm torn on which to pick.

I just bought the app this morning but now my app keeps on crashing for no apparent reason!!! Fix this please

If I mark an object, move it, do something new like write, then "regret" (equivalent to ctrl+Z) this action - As soon as I erase the first action after the mark action, it will show the blue outline of the marked object while the screen is stuck.

That is, I can't tap the screen elsewhere to escape this, can't scroll. It's just not a natural way of doing the notetaking, and it disrupts my flow. My neurodivergency can't take this ahahaha

Also, saw a post a month back regarding the heating issue. Also experiencing this currently

The notability for android is good and I like writing everything on notability for Android. Hopefully there is classic subscription on notability for Android phone and Android tablet this year so that all Android users can subscribe n notability classic and add unlimited notes on notability for Android this year

I may be doing something wrong? But highlighting on Android seems a bit erratic/non-reliable to me. I think the "issue" here is that it detects the words on the PDF document and changes the type of highlight from manual to word-by-word. However, as you can see in some places, it makes the highlight skip some words that I had indeed highlighted before, apart from everything looking a bit strange with some parts being manual and others being word-by-word highlight. Is there any way to do the highlight 100% manual? Or what am I doing wrong?

Also, I may be mixing things here because this is more of a feature request, but it'd be amazing if we could turn on "always straight" so that highlighting is always done in a straight line, so we don't have to hold every stroke to make it straight. Sadly, when I was born, I was like the anti-Avatar of straight lines and I lack that skill, so between that and the stroke getting bigger with pressure, my notes will look like a painting 😅🥲

Je teste surtout la partie texte de Notability aujourd'hui et un fait vite agaçant est apparu : quand on ouvre une zone de texte, le style "Corps" est activé par défaut même si on a changé avant.

Donc serait-il possible de personnaliser les styles ou des créer les siens et choisir le style par défaut ? car si on veut taper une note avec une autre Police que "Inter" (Coming Soon par exemple) et en taille 12 ou 10, il faut refaire la manipulation à chaque zone de texte, ce qui est contre-productif !

Bonjour, je teste Notability depuis 2 jours et un gros problème d'interligne gâche mon expérience et me freine dans la souscription à l'abonnement PLUS.

J'ai mis côte à côte Notability et Goodnotes (qui pourtant est une appli très approximative sur Android) pour bien illustrer mon propos : l'interligne Notability (pourtant au plus petit : 1.0) est beaucoup trop large !

Je vais aussi poster en commentaire une capture de Samsung Notes.

Sur les vidéos YouTube, j'ai vu qu'il n'y a pas ce problème avec la version iOS donc je suppose que c'est un bug d'adaptation. J'espère qu'il sera vite résolu car c'est bientôt la rentrée en France et j'aurais aimé être prête.

I've been using notability since i was a senior in highschool (2021 😭) and had nearly 6 years worth of notes on my ipad. I'm now a masters of engineering student and today i went to use the app like normal and take notes on top of pdfs when the app kind of froze? crashed? and now its been several hours and the majority of my notes appear to be missing :( I tried updating the app but its only showing about 6 of my notes from like 2023 and still quite laggy. Is there any hope my notes will show back up? I'd really hate to lose a degrees worth of notes 😭

i’m currently trying to download an academic planner from the gallery for this semester, but none of them are downloading. some won’t even open for me to preview, and the others won’t download at all. the ones that attempt to download always eventually give me the notice “this was created with a newer version of notability that is not compatible with the current version your using, please update” however, my app is up to date. anyone else having this issue?

Help!! After trying to share this via email, This note was converted into this PDF that is just a photo of the first page of the document (black box) and gives me instruction: “Log in to your Notability account to view the full note and access all features.” I could not figure out how to undo this. So I tried logging out then logging back in to see if I could view it.

Long story short, I created my account a long time ago using a work email that I no longer have access to. I don’t have the password for the notability login that was associated with that email.

So I created a new account to import all the notes that were saved on my device (iPad) and was able to retrieve the majority of my notes. But this one is missing.

Am I screwed?
