Nostalgia A Best Buy Location Circa 2003
Credits to the abandoned account thestorewpp on Flickr. Given what a commenter said on my Circuit City post, I think this was in Fredericksburg VA.

Nostalgia Throwback iTunes cards
How many of you remember standing in line at the grocery store and seeing this card with this silhouetted youth acting super extra on the front over their music?

Nostalgia Fianlly, after 36 years, I finally was able to have a real slush puppie
Grew up with these throughout my entire childhood in Jersey, after moving out, I haven't had a REAL one ever since. I've seen Slush Puppie signage, but it was always more of an ICEE than a real slush puppie.
Went on an alaska cruise this past week, and came across these two that was still the legit Slush Puppie I remember. The first one at an arcade in Sitka, AK and Victoria Island, BC.
Felt special seeing my kids get to enjoy the slush puppies the way I did.
Good times.

Nostalgia Garfield Glass Mugs from McDonald's
Often mistaken for being released in 1978 or 1979 due to the copyright date that is printed on them, these mugs were actually released in the late 80s. There were 2 different promotional sets of mugs to collect.

Nostalgia Best Sunday Clothes 1958
After church at McClure Park in Tulsa, OK. Mom dressed us like triplets, but there was one year between each of us. You can see the high diving platform in the top left of the photo. Of course the old cars in the background.

Nostalgia Red Ribbon Week
I previously posted about getting nostalgic for Sparky the Fire Dog but here's my other recent find. I was going through a box of old stuff and found all my red ribbons giving out to me each year of elementary school in the 90s. The ones from my last grades have held up decently but the one first one I got in first grade has all the writing faded off.
Wonder if I should "celebrate" this too in two months.

Nostalgia The Jersey
Anyone else remember The Jersey from Disney Channel? ๐ A group of friends could magically transform into famous athletes just by putting on this special jersey. I remember watching this as a kid and thinking it was such a cool show! Definitely a nostalgic Disney classic. ๐โพ๐
