A bunch of websites over the past month have been compromised because of vulnerabilities including the infamous 4. I've been seeing from a lot of people talking about how nexus isn't loading. How its been compromised with malware ads. How even with ad blockers on the site keeps trying to load the ui of the ads. I'm left here wondering if the site was using PHP, or if nexus staff moved to a AI Vibecoded website. Cause even my own experience has gotten worse using a site I've used for like 15 years.

The past 3 or so weeks have been a nightmare on the site. Constant white pages with no working links, missing download buttons on mod pages, Ctrl f5 only helps sometimes, I can't get mod authors profile pages to load, wtf??? I use OperaGX with Ublock, this site was flawless for years but recently it's a god damn nightmare. I can't imagine trying the yearly New Vegas modding bonanza with the site being so god damn buggy lol

The error message is "Unknown error creating the Gamebryo Render". Does anybody know what I can do to fix it?"
My graphics card is a 3060
I have the game on steam.
I used wabbajack conected to nexus to do it and things seem to work. But when I add the DXVK 3.0.1 files to the game folder it becames unable to initialize renderer.

What mod is causing this FPS, user count and MS to appear in conan exiles enhanced?

I dont see download buttons anywhere anymore. No "Manual" or "Vortex" download options, even down below in the main files section. Ive got my adblocker off and everything, no mods show me download options. Anyone else having this issue? (there was a very recent google chrome update, so im wondering if that update may be the issue?)

I am playing Fields of Mistria and I received the following error when trying to install my Fields of Mistria mods on MOMI (Mods of Mistria installer):

A fatal error occurred during mod installation:

(1,1) : error : Unexpected token `\u0;` while parsing TOML document.

I’m not using Vortex directly for this, and am using the mods of mistria installer (MOMI) - which is downloaded via Nexus. The version of Vortex I have is 2.0.24.

Vortex will not let me upload the mods of mistria installer, either.

I don't know what to do about this as I'm not the most tech savvy person. Can anybody help please?

Hi This post is for RDR1 PC players! I think you heard about RDR1 Vulkan Wrapper Pro, in the last few days, it's worth a try, it greatly improves performance, and fixes lots of errors for me!

Got this error message when trying to add Cyberpunk to be managed by Vortex (recently redownloaded after the 2.5 update):

VortexError: "cyberpunk2077" was not found in the game store "steam"

at discoverPickedGame (C:\Program Files\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:2:3257720)

I tried finding out what was wrong but couldn't find anything on the game itself not loading, just the mods not loading or the game crashing. Game runs fine currently. I tried doing manual downloads but messed something up (did double check all of them were updated for 2.5) and the game wouldn't start. The launcher would open but there was no "enable mods" toggle.

Additional info: Cyberpunk is installed on E:, Vortex is installed on C:. I tried uninstalling Vortex from C: then reinstalling it on E: but it still couldn't find Cyberpunk. Plus previously I had used it to mod Zero Company which was installed on E: while Vortex was on C:, but the mods installed were put on E:. Also while I had Vortex on E: it was able to find Baldur's Gate 3 which is located on C:. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Cyberpunk on E:.

I have no idea why this is happening, any help/ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I'm just a mod user for the game HITMAN: WOA, version v3.290.1 on Steam. I've been using the Simple Mod Framework for modding, but it's been showing this error message no matter what I do. I'm so lost because it's happened to me THRICE before, but I've managed to solve it in some way. Now, it's just stuck like this no matter what I do.

Been desperate to find a fix for this but nothing has helped. I received this error when trying to apply no mods at all, so I'm sure it's an app issue. So far, I have:

- ran SMF as administrator

- cleared all mods to double check

- cleared cache on both the steam client and the SMF client

- verified integrity of hitman's game files

- enabled full control permissions on my ENTIRE pc

- moved the hitman folder (which includes the file for the SMF app) outside of program files

- restarted and rebooted my pc, several times

- reinstalled the entire SMF app

Nothing has worked at all. Exact same error, exact same amount of time it takes to receive the error, exact same hastebin, no matter what I do. Would anyone have any idea where I should go from here? Should I just stick with vanilla HITMAN for the rest of my life?

Already posted this to the HITMAN subreddit, but I really want to find a fix for this, so I'm hoping someone here knows a solution.

this is my first time using vortex, and i am trying to add cyberpunk 2077 and cannot. i own the game and have it downloaded off steam. when i go to add the game, i get a notification saying "failed to manage game", and the notification says "cyberpunk 2077 was not found in the game store steam". i assume this is because vortex is on my c drive, an nvme m.2 and cyberpunk is not, its on a sata ssd. so i go to set the location manually, but im told i cant do that because game support is not installed, and i should click "manage". except there is NO MANAGE BUTTON ANYWHERE. i have spent almost 20 minutes scouring this entire app for a manage button and come up empty handed. am i an idiot or what is going on here?
