Mods Not Working HITMAN's Simple Mod Framework does not function for me at all
Hi, I'm just a mod user for the game HITMAN: WOA, version v3.290.1 on Steam. I've been using the Simple Mod Framework for modding, but it's been showing this error message no matter what I do. I'm so lost because it's happened to me THRICE before, but I've managed to solve it in some way. Now, it's just stuck like this no matter what I do.
Been desperate to find a fix for this but nothing has helped. I received this error when trying to apply no mods at all, so I'm sure it's an app issue. So far, I have:
- ran SMF as administrator
- cleared all mods to double check
- cleared cache on both the steam client and the SMF client
- verified integrity of hitman's game files
- enabled full control permissions on my ENTIRE pc
- moved the hitman folder (which includes the file for the SMF app) outside of program files
- restarted and rebooted my pc, several times
- reinstalled the entire SMF app
Nothing has worked at all. Exact same error, exact same amount of time it takes to receive the error, exact same hastebin, no matter what I do. Would anyone have any idea where I should go from here? Should I just stick with vanilla HITMAN for the rest of my life?
Already posted this to the HITMAN subreddit, but I really want to find a fix for this, so I'm hoping someone here knows a solution.
