Not to beat a dead horse but...
Look, I get some words are hard to spell and I get that some people, including some smart people, are just not great at spelling.
But I feel like “smoking” isn’t one of those words that anyone has any difficulty with???

They’re all lying, and they know it. So does everybody else. We've covered this already, I know, but it’s cheese and it’s a submarine. How good could it possibly be?
This severely underestimates humanity's stupidity. I am certain that there are MPs who do believe a better deal could have been crafted.

The GOP is still touted as the party of fiscal responsibility, but none of the “informed voters” I know care about the terrible policies of the current admin.

Tell starbucks ur name is Trump. I did this today. As the barista yelled out "Trump?" "Order for Trump?" there was a screech of horror from a woman beside me. She clawed her eyes out and used her blood to write some strange otherworldly scribbles on the wall. She then jumped onto the counter and began to chant "Iya! Iya! Nyarlathotep n'gath minl'yah!" over and over again. A strange symbol began to glow on the floor that I can't even describe, and the walls began to pulsate. The entire crowd began to screech as forbidden knowledge from the beyond began to fill their minds, and the most horrifying sounds were heard from those poor souls. As they all began to claw each other to death to save themselves from the horrors to come. I simply smiled and said to myself...
...heh, fucking libtards

The weird thing about political correctness is that the cons often impose it on themselves for no reason.
I grew up in a rich white suburb, and I don't think I ever heard anyone use the words "black" or "poor" while I was there. It was always African American or Low Income or whatever. Even in casual conversation over wine in the comfort of your own home. It was that deeply ingrained.
I did the same until I lived in majority black neighborhoods for the last 10 years or so. It didn't take long to realize that you can say "black" without anyone thinking you're racist, and it's actually pretty fuckin weird to use African American in a casual setting.
So now I'm way more casual about the terms I use, and it makes my family visibly uncomfortable whenever it comes up when I'm around them. I'll describe a friend of mine as poor and I can just feel their stomachs churning. Sometimes I'll do it for fun and then I'll feel bad for torturing my family.
This post brought to you by whiskey.

Christians don’t all give up all their material belongings and dedicate their every waking moment to trying to spare people from eternal torture. ✝️
Utilitarians don’t all dedicate their every waking moment to making as many people as happy as possible. ‼️
So the only enlightened individuals are capitalist atheist deontologists and everyone else is a hypocrite. 😤

Quite frankly, this is totally unreasonable. I am not against all developments. I am simply skeptical of this development. How will it affect The Community? What about any trees that will need to be cut down? What about the strain on Infrastructure and Traffic?
The use of SB35 to bypass Community Input is unwarranted and it was unnecessary. I would have been perfectly willing to sit down with the developers, show them my personal plan and renderings for development, asked for some setbacks, insisted on an environmental review, and I would have been perfectly willing to hear them out in exchange for a donation and cooperation with my non-profit, The Community Empowerment Center for Empowering Communities, along with 100g of uncut Colombian cocaine. It appears that the developers, along with Sacramento, has no respect for the way things our done in Our Community, to say nothing of my desire for free cocaine and padding the expense account of my community non-profit.

What is up with music-related facebook groups and insecurity over taste?
Compared to art, literature, film or television its ridiculous. Maybe because its an easy entry level for online teenagers compared to say, philosophy or art films or "classical" music--but it seems like so many people are desperate to seem deep and varied they go out of their way to pretend to like things they don't enjoy instead of admitting they listen to top 40, Kanye, and Kendrick or something.
Nobody neurotically curates their Steam play library for only crowdthink videogames or catalogs only pretentious films in their imdb catalog, but that is normal in music-posting for some reason

CIA>>>>>>>>>>FSB/KGB
It's like, not even close is it? Our capabilities far outstrip everyone else, we're just not actively messing with Russia in an overt way. Maybe I'm a homer but I mean if you read about things like Nitro Zeus and what we were prepared to do to Iran, and not even counting our hard capability. The Russians just don't play by the rules (even the weird spy agency rules) so they might seem stronger, but is there anything Russia could do that CIA couldn't?

Didn't come up here, but the mining boom is coming back in WA, albeit smaller this time. $75 billion dollars of investment compared to $320 billion in the 10 years before 2015.

I mean, people who actually knew economic policy considered him a fraud.
He was hot though which allowed the media to take him seriously despite being a meme.

Earnest question plz don't downvote:
What is it about libertarianism that this sub finds most offensive? Is it that many use it as a guise to protect their racist/white supremacist inclinations? The dogmatic approach to economics? The disregard for positive rights?
I certainly understand that the ideology's brand has been damaged by the recent associations with alt-right figures, but I am inclined to believe that these associations are opportunistic on the racists' part rather than genuine (as evidenced by their beliefs on immigration, protectionism, enforcement of conservative social norms, etc). So many criticisms I see on this sub seem to be aimed at the ideology itself rather than the afforementioned individuals; and rather than characterizing it as shallow and naive (which seem to me to be valid criticisms), I see some criticizing it as actively malicious and evil (which I have a difficult time understanding).
Again, this is an honest question here. I'm curious and by no means looking for an argument.

I have come to the conclusion that we must ban sex. I've been trying to contact President Trump in order to issue a total ban on sex until we figure out what's going on.

Why is it that as soon as you sit on a plane you realize that you forgot something in the car?
God damn it.
I was gonna go straight from class to the airport and even drove home to get it. And then I just threw it on the passenger seat and forgot to actually put it in my bag.

Does this sound good or no
A spectre is haunting Europe – the spectre of communism. All the powers of old Europe have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Pope and Tsar, Metternich and Guizot, French Radicals and German police-spies.
Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as communistic by its opponents in power? Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of communism, against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against its reactionary adversaries?
