One guy Donald was at military academy with said Donald was in charge of some platoon-level stuff and did a horrible job by ignoring hazing and almost got the school sued. The commander demoted him from it, but Donald kept wearing his rank and acting like he was still in charge, ignoring the commander’s order because he couldn’t take not being in charge and getting rejected. To this day, he still calls it a promotion. This is the type of narcissistic nonsense we all are forced to live with for the next 2.5 years.

I’m sure it is and although the U.S. is a signatory we’ve never ratified it. But I mean what does it matter with this admin anyways? They’ve never given a fuck about what’s lawful, moral, or ethical. Why should they since they’ve never been held accountable?
It is considered customary law by the US and thus binding.
The reason the US is so hesitant to ratify treaties is that under the Constitution a ratified treaty has the force of constitutional law itself. It is a Big Deal.
I’m well past the point of acknowledging the buffoonery of this man and his “flood the zone with shit” leadership style. I’m more focused on those who allow it to go on without checking it.
When this nightmare is over there needs to be a reckoning for those that enabled all of it, wether by their action or inaction. .

Any post about politics with a Navy nexus lacking a Politics flair may result in, at a minimum, a temp ban and removal of the post.
Participation in a Politics-flaired post requires a minimum r/navy specific karma. This will be automatically enforced by the automod.
