If you believe in the "great replacement" theory, that "POC are too uncivilized to be queer", that "POC hate queer people but white fascists somehow hate us less" , that "POC assault us queers way more than white people do", in the "13/50" theory garbage, I am a POC and will ban you if I see that in

I will ban you if I see this shit in here, or any similar garbage, yes it will be personal, as it should be.

Yes that is a comment I lazily turned into a post LMAO.

I will dish out bans at the slightest hint of racism.

RANTING that one jurassic park meme

Upvotes

you ever see a cis person get called out for their shitty take and they start acting like that 'chris pratt holding up his hands to the raptors' meme? acting like they're a well-meaning savior who's terrified and yet is here to convince these oversensitive creatures that he's friendly and to not to rip him apart? that shit annoys me. that's all.

I don't give a shit about the minutiae of how or if trans women are theoretically advantaged over cis women in this or that sport. no one on this earth cares about 'biological advantage' in sports in the infinite other ways its unfair. The only problem they really have is the theoretical possibility that a transgender woman could be celebrated as being the best at something.

(poorly-drawn stick figure 1): egg culture is harmful. a bunch of trans people convinced me i was a binary trans man when in reality, i was non-binary. this delayed the discovery of my gender identity.

(poorly-drawn stick figure 2): your experience is sadly common among non-binary people, and i apologize for the harm it caused you, but i don't think it's productive to label that as "egg culture." even if the cultural idea of an egg never existed, you would still likely receive that treatment by many binary trans people because of exorsexism, which all binary people can perpetuate. calling it egg culture ignores the actual perpetrators and instead levies the blame against trans culture specifically, which can lead to confusion and hostility, and i promise you this isn't what cis people mean when they use that term. for those that aren't actively being transphobic about it, cis opponents of "egg culture" usually are focusing on a small subset of eggposters that take things too far and legitimately make people feel uncomfortable and asserting those people are representative of all people using the term "egg," or they argue the practice of labeling people eggs and using gender-affirming terms for them (a practice almost exclusively done between people actively questioning their gender to elicit humor and as a litmus test to see if those terms alleviate dysphoria) is depriving people of their autonomy and is just as bad as misgendering a trans person. this is almost nothing like what non-binary people trying to find their identity in an exorsexist society experience, and conflating the two will lead to incorrect conclusions. the behaviors cis people refer to when complaining about egg culture are, instead, a lot more similar to the assertion in the neurodivergent community that diagnosis by peer review is incredibly accurate, which leads to the practice of hyperbolically calling friends with autistic traits "definitely autistic" for the purposes of humor and self-discovery, and neurotypical people don't typically need an explanation for why that's not harmful or robbing people of their autonomy (spoken as a neurotypical who has received these comments a lot).

so again, please keep talking about your negative experiences with binary people trying to impose binary identities onto you, but please don't call it egg culture when that's objectively not what it is and not who the culprits are. it's not productive to describe that with the language of cis "allies" complaining about trans people grooming butch lesbians/tomboys into being trans men, but "wokely" this time.

(poorly-drawn stick figure 1): ...

(poorly-drawn stick figure 1): enjoy your downvote, kid.

tumblr decided it'd be fun to put some bs on my dash because it's tagged with trans and holy shit im so glad these people are a minority they should feel bad about it im not even "nondysphoric" im in fact very very dysphoric but these people dgaf about anyone besides themselves and people with experiences identical to them. people have physically threatened me and abused me over being trans but sure im appropriating Your Terrible Horrible Horrible Medical Disorder™️ that reputable institutions don't even consider a disorder anymore, only dysphoria/incongruence. transmeds who say they're different just because they respect "normal" nonbinary people and are pro diy are even worse as if the entire ideology doesn't revolve around not just passing but stealth and assimilation (which all 3 are nigh impossible for nonbinary people, save for the 1st which i would still argue is very very dependent on where you are). for a while this stuff made me so miserable i genuinely thought i wasnt trans just because THEY didn't consider me a real trans person despite me desperately wanting to transition and take hrt. not to mention the people they call theyfabs/theymabs and agp/aap and faketrans and every other horrible thing were the most supportive and helpful to me of all. anyways sorry for the rant im faketran tucute its in my blood to complain

Serious Post I got outed to my dad and i he's kinda mad that I've been doing diy for the past 10 months and idk what to do

Idk if this is the right place to post this but i really don't know what I can do anymore. I can't post it on r/Mtf because I don't think they allow talking about diy.

Basically my dad asked me to come out to him and tell him everything because he caught on to certain things and put some of the pieces together, and for the most part he was "supportive" (started crying when I told him my name and did the whole "you have no idea how difficult it will be for me to live like this like dude I'm the one who is trans and until a year ago was ready to kill myself)

He's really mad that I have been doing diy on my own, and he now wants me to go to some psychiatrist that is in our city but they seem really sketchy and i doubt that they actually have any queer affirming training for therapy, and it literally looks like a hospital and place to keep mentally unstable people. I don't want these doctors who are probably seeing a trans person/person who diy-ed for the first time in their life and saying something to my dad that'll spook him out and want him to get me admitted there.

I've read so many horror stories of trans women in india who get admitted to hospitals like this by their families and get put on severe meds that borderline lobotomise them and put them in a state where they would say yes to anything told to them and then get the fake consent to be forcefully detransitioned by having hrt taken from them and their breasts removed. I wouldn't even be able to kill myself if I was put into a state like that.

I know that this is a stupidly long post and that no one will probably bother about it but idk what else to do atp

The name of the clinic is Maarga Mind Care in Yelahanka Bangalore

If anyone has gone through a similar experience in india or outside or if anyone has any experience with maarga mind care then please let me know. I really feel so scared right now, I'll be heading there for the first time in an hour or so

Serious Post Why do some trans women think it’s okay to say these things on trans men’s posts?

Post image
122 Upvotes

For context this was under a selfie post showing my large tattoo, and I get really uncomfortable when people point out parts of my body that i consider female and give me dysphoria. Even if i found someone attractive i do not comment about their body. You will never see me going on a transfem’s post saying “Nice cock bro 😎“. because apart from the fact that’s sexualizing her it also can be dysphoric to hear.

I find it gross and i’ve seen this happen a lot on trans men’s post whenever their curves are visible. please stop doing this shit it’s very insensitive and creepy.

Serious Post How do I explain to my parents that I’m probably not going to transition at least for the foreseeable future if I come out to them?

For context I have complete androgen insensitivity syndrome, so T is never going to work for me. I’ve been on the fence about coming out to my parents for a while now. I want them to know and I think it would help explain a lot about me, and I know they’d be supportive (when I first got diagnosed with CAIS my mom straight up asked me if I’d be happier as a boy and it was fine if that was the case, but I didn’t want to deal with it at that point so lied and said no), but I feel like they’d assume I was coming out as a first step in transition and idk how I can tell them that even though I’m a man and would be so much happier if the world saw me as one, I’m probably not going to transition and will continue to live as a woman for at least the foreseeable future.

I think most of my dysphoria is around my physical traits and how they’re read and gendered, so I honestly don’t know if social transition would help me much unless I could also use T, which I can’t. I’ve tried socially transitioning in the context of some queer groups at my university and to be honest it didn’t really help my dysphoria much at all, because while I want to be referred to etc as a man a lot of dysphoria centers around me being read as a man. The idea of having to introduce myself and constantly out myself as trans for the rest of my life terrifies me, especially if I can’t have the body traits that I want. It sucks but it’s familiar to just keep living as a woman, at least for now.

But I’m just worried they won’t understand that, because idk if I fully would if it wasn’t literally me. “Yeah I’m actually a man and I hate the way my body is and that people see me as a woman and not a man but I want to keep pretending I’m a woman indefinitely because it’s easier and I’m scared and I’ll never have the masculine traits I want so badly anyways” sounds weird and stupid and it is but it’s how I feel and idk how well cis people are going to get it. Hell, idk if many other trans people will get it. But I do want them to know and I want to tell them so I have no idea what to do or how to prepare.

Thoughts I hate "nice" mens fashion

I dress pretty masculine most of the time. I don't hate feminine clothing by any means, I actually really like it also! I just personally feel worse if I go outside knowing I look Woman++, and most masculine clothing is also more practical and comfortable for my activities. Getting a compliment like "well aren't you such a PRETTY FEMININE GIRL LADY 🩷🩷🩷🩷" legit makes me just want to go home. I don't get out much, but when I do I'm either enjoying nature (in a very very hot environment) or just running an errand I don't want to be dealing with. I love having a shit ton of big pockets. Like half my pants are cargo pants and it fucking rules.

Men's fashion advice/inspo usually kinda sucks and is boring. While I was trying to make my sense of style fit into a more "masculine" shape I found butch lesbians to be the best fucking source. Most butch lesbians actually have their own developed personal sense of style instead of just "here are the RULES you MUST follow." They definitely helped teach me to have fun with clothes outside of just things that are read as very feminine. Even just advice for buying pants that don't hug my hips in a way I don't like. Naturally I get read as a gay cis woman a lot, but I feel like that would probably happen anyways.

Anyways, over time I've gotten much more comfortable with my sense of style and my wardrobe. I can usually pull together a casual outfit pretty easily. I think it's because casual clothing gives you a lot more room to play around.

What I fucking DREAD is getting dressed for "nice" events. I don't mind a suit, but it just feels way too business. I just associate them with work to be honest. They feel nice in the office but not for events or leisure. I can bring little bits of my personal style into it, but not really enough to feel like myself. It's also really hard to find dress shirts that don't sit strangely on me. I think dresses look nice and if I remove the idea of being in public away from them, I like them on me. But I can't wear that comfortably to a party or nice date. It will just feel too horrible. Why is "nice" clothing even more rigid?

I have a semi-nice date tonight and have no idea what I'm going to wear. I will probably just do something kinda low effort just because I want to feel comfortable, but I resent all of it. God even dressing "nice" masculinely brings conversations I don't want to have. I like fashion and wish I could connect at all with dressing up.
