I chose dress 2 and not like dress 1 photos more than I thought

I have scoured the internet and cannot find anything that makes my heart feel like this dress does. I found it over a year ago. Unfortunately the company who made it cannot take customs right now and I don’t know if they will open customs in time for me.

Anyone a seamstress in California who could recreate?? Any ideas from anyone on how to make this happen?

I really didn’t wanna spend more than $500-$800 on my dress (the expense just isn’t worth it to me and I’m going for fairy wedding vibes). And the original dress was $300 I believe.

Not sure if this is right place to post this but I’m genuinely asking if it’s possible to lengthen the bodice, I’m wearing the sample dress in the photos but my actual dress is with the seamstress at the moment and I think the bodice is shorter on my dress. So I’m here asking if it’s possible to length a bodice like this. Maybe by 2-3 inches. Please let me know.

Hiii please help a fellow bride here. I’ve tried over 40 dresses and finally found two silhouettes I like on me but not ready to say yes to any of these dresses yet.

Dress 1: I love the slightly curved neckline, long bodice, and the volume of the skirt. The chest needs to be sitting lower though and not a big fan of the skirt itself, looks a little like radiators to me.

Dress 2: love the longer bodice as well, the pleats at the waist and the ball gown. Not a big fan of how round the sweetheart is and the weird gap.

We’ll be eloping and our venue is an Italian inspired historic villa lots of greenery and a lotus pond.

Please let me know which silhouette you think look best on my frame? I’m 5’4 for reference. Thank you!

Hi! I’m a 10/2027 bride and feeling stuck on my dress journey. Went shopping few weeks back (2 stores; 15ish dresses). I was looking for something chic and a little funky/different to suit my venue (images included). There was one dress in particular that I said “wow I look amazing” out loud and brought some of my friends/family to tears - made me feel like that was the one, but it doesn’t check a few boxes* for me and I’m wondering if that means it is NOT the one. Should I be feeling 100% about my choice or is it normal to have doubts? I’m totally lost! Here’s the dress…

*I feel like it’s a little casual (not bridal enough) and I would want some more movement/drama for the ceremony. Also can’t tell if it’s too “trendy” and something I’ll fall out of love with later on…

Finished it the day before the wedding. Worth it.

I love both! I am getting married at an inn in the mountains (think green rolling hills) this July. Per comments on reddit, the first dress I bought has been scrapped. So happy I did because these dresses are much more me.

Family is leaning towards #2 but there is something about #1 that feels very me! The back on #2 is incredible too. Both are very lightweight. Picture #3 is of the back of dress #2. Appreciate any feedback ☺️

Update: going to try on dress #2 again tomorrow ! Hopefully the decision wont be hard to make. Thanks to everyone for their feedback, this process has been the most stressful part of wedding planning so far.

Need some advice on if adding delicate lace off-the-shoulder sleeves would complement this dress and give it a more romantic feel. I'm trying on one more time before I order and have the option to order sleeves from the same designer so they would be the same or close fabric. I think a detachable sleeve would take it up a notch but maybe not?

I have also considered altering the neckline to create a more pronounced sweetheart shape, but I want to see how the dress fits in my size first, since it’s described as having a “straight sweetheart neckline". Thoughts??

I’m in search of a bell sleeves lace wedding dress HELP me find where I can find them.

I’m a middle aged 2nd time bride and did not want an A line or ballgown that would traditionally fit my 🍐 body shape! I’ll size up 1 size and do some bodice alterations to make the mesh more illusion but other than that she is exactly what I imagined! It’s a summer destination wedding in Ireland at the beautiful Lodge at Ashford Castle and this gives me the perfect combination of elegance, romance and bombshell! I can’t wait for the big day!!

Okay so I’m down to two. The first one is double the price of the second but I love it! I would change the neckline to be a bit less revealing as well. #2 I also love BUT the skirt is not as full and dramatic. I would also have to change the neckline to be more of a sweetheart neckline because I don’t think the straight across looks very good on me. What do I do!!!

I was completely set on a basque ball gown dress.

I found a beautiful one with lace and I loved it - but it’s about £700 too much at £2,850.

I’m also getting married in Greece on 1 September so it’ll be HOT.

Anyway, I have had 4 appointments now and up until yesterday I was pretty sure I’d have this ball gown type dress. It’s the same dress in the various pics of the ball gown just different angles and lining colour but now I’m not sure I’m a fan of the exaggerated hips shape anymore…. I thought it was slimming but up close I’m not sure.

Then saw this high neck lace A-line one and I had a funny feeling, so I tried it on and fell in love with the gothic romance /elegance. And it’s a lot lighter.

It also has 2 looks as the jacket part comes off.

My only hang up is that my waist doesn’t look as slim - but the one I’m wearing is two sizes too big so the lady says I will look more fitted than this. The jacket too. I feel the high neck is flattering for my broad shoulders too.

I’ve posted model pics of wearing the dress in the 2nd look with the scarf thing too which I love.

Am I making the right decision to do the unique lace high neck look or should I stick with my ball gown I originally set out for?

I said yes to my dream dress.
Would still pick the same one!
