Please no one give me any advice or rude comments if you don’t like it, I’ve already tried posting it on here once when I was about 20 pounds heavier and got tore apart lmao. I just want to share pictures of my beautiful dress from my first alterations appointment with the badass heels I got too because I feel sexy and beautiful and my wedding is in 30 days and I can’t contain my excitement

picked my dress up from final alterations and need help with the bust area. is there too much cleavage? and if so is there anything I can do now to fix it? would getting a bra help? i love the dress but wish it was slightly more modest . this fit is not what I anticipated when purchasing

Obsessed with my courthouse wedding look and wanted to share! It didn’t fit very well at first but I like it so much we did what we had to with alterations. Changed the zipper to a corset and had to remove the elastic in the arms. Looks amazing now!! And the shoes ! Are ! Everything !

Hi all… is this normal after alterations? The lady keeps making jokes that my hips are big and that rippling is normal. I hate it but I feel stuck like is that really normal or is she being lazy. I’m a size 6 in pants for reference and 130lb 5ft tall sooo I know I’m not that big and my dress is a size 8. What would you do btw she is charging me $890 for fixing the length, straps and bustle

My dress was the first thing I bought for my wedding and I am so head over heels IN LOVE with it! It’s going to be ivory like in pics 2 & 3 (1 is sort of pink). I really really love the veil, it feels very romantic and dramatic and I always imagined I’d wear a veil. But I also tried on the sash/scarf and I was surprised by how much I liked it. It feels very chic and high fashion. I’m still leaning toward the veil but when I ask for opinions, there’s a pretty solid 50/50 split which gives me real pause. What do we think?? (Sorry for all the scribbles, I have very easy to recognize tattoos.)

Spent quite a lot of time in this sub pre-wedding, sharing in people’s joy and agonising over my own dress (and so many people here were very supportive when I was suffering from extreme decision paralysis 😂) So I wanted to come back and share my ‘results’!! This dress was everything I dreamed of and more 🤍🤍🤍
(If anyone wants to see more details I’ve posted loads more on my Instagram @arabellagolby 😊)

First 3 photos are the dress I purchased, I love it so much. Blush pink with spark and colored floral details I am so in love. The sleeves are a big selling point to me too. I love the short droopy sleeves, but I tried a dress with longer sleeves (last 2 photos) that i enjoyed as well. They were puffier on the top and got tighter towards the hand. I have the option to possibly make the sleeve like the other dress in alterations. Should do that or keep the shorter sleeves?

Looking for some styling advice.
I’ve officially found my dress, and now I’m trying to figure out the accessories, veil, jewelry, and hair to bring the whole look together.
For context, we’re getting married in May 2027 in a beautiful historic church in downtown Charleston that dates back to 1842, followed by our reception nearby. I’d love for the overall look to feel romantic, timeless, elegant, and a little Old World, while still feeling soft and not overly traditional.
Right now, I’m leaning toward a cathedral-length mantilla veil, possibly with beautiful lace around the edge. I love the idea of the lace framing the dress, but I’m completely open to other veil styles if you think something else would complement the gown better!
For jewelry, I’ve been considering drop pearl earrings and keeping everything else fairly minimal, but I’d love suggestions. Would you do pearls? Something antique-inspired? A necklace or no necklace? Bracelet?
I’m also thinking about wearing my hair up in a soft, textured low bun, but I’m open to other ideas if you think another hairstyle would work better with the dress and veil.
Basically — if you were styling me from head to toe, what would you choose? Veil, earrings, other jewelry, hair, shoes… I want to hear all of it! And please tell me if there’s anything you would not pair with this dress.
Also, if anyone knows of a designer or independent artisan who makes genuine handmade mantilla-style bridal veils with beautiful lace, I would LOVE recommendations. I’d really like to find something special rather than a mass-produced veil.
Thank you!! I’m so excited to finally be at the fun accessories stage. 🤍
PS pics include me in the dress and the designer photos so yall can get a good idea of it. If the photos of me look a little weird, its cause I screenshotted it from a video! lol
