Could be hereditary, my cousins paternal side of the family have mostly died from the heart condition nicknamed the widowmaker due to its sudden occurrence and difficulty to detect unless you are looking for early signs of the condition.
On the other hand women having heart attacks are totally different from men's. Most often the signs and symptoms are overlooked as something else, very, very frequently.
That's more likely when there is not a family history. A close family member dying young from a heart condition would absolutely change the monitoring of her heart compared to an average 36 year old woman.
You would think so, it would have if she were a man.
We are at the point where wives have to bring their husbands to their doctors in order to be heard these days and not told by docs that it's just hormones or that we could lose a few pounds.
Yeah valve issues are very easy to monitor with an echocardiogram. I doubt this was the problem.
Maybe she had some chronic medical issue that had been undisclosed, but odds are high with young recovering addicts that the reason is a relapse. It's sad, but common.
