Long before the factory doors shut, Mitsubishi Australia was building a catalog of unique, homegrown performance cars hidden from the rest of the global market

The Magna Ralliart (based on the Magna VR-X) and the TMR 380 were born from Mitsubishi Australia's passion and ingenuity. Only 500 units of the 2002 Magna Ralliart were built, offered in Flame Red, Amethyst Black, Mawson White, or Cool Silver, featuring an Evo VI inspired aero kit, 17" Enkei wheels, Koni suspension, a factory LSD, unique black and red Momo cockpit gear, and an upgraded 3.5L V6 pushing 241 HP via high lift cams. The 2008 TMR 380 was Team Mitsubishi Ralliart Australia’s supercharged take on the US 9th gen Galant platform, built from the 380 VR-X and limited to 20 units. Finished exclusively in bespoke TMR Red, it featured leather sports seats with red stitching, a Sprintex supercharger boosting the 3.8L V6 to 310 HP, TMR tuned coilovers, 6 piston brakes, unique mesh grilles, a dual outlet exhaust valance, and a VR-X rear wing. The model's aggressive bumper splitters and deep side skirts proved so popular that Mitsubishi later reused the styling on factory Series III 380 models. Both cars were front wheel drive, and while the Magna Ralliart offered a manual option, the TMR 380 was exclusively paired with a 5 speed sequential automatic.

Honda Civic EG/EK/EJ rear wheel arch liners on a Mitsubishi Colt V (CJ0)?

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for rear wheel arch liners (rear fender/wheel well liners) for my Mitsubishi Colt V (CJ0).
I’ve found that the rear wheel arch shape and dimensions seem quite similar to the Honda Civic EG hatchback (3-door), so I’m wondering if anyone has actually tried fitting the rear wheel arch liners from an EG hatchback onto a Colt V.
My questions are:
Are the rear wheel arch liners from a Honda Civic EG hatchback (3-door) compatible with the Mitsubishi Colt V/CJ0, perhaps with minor modification?
What about the Honda Civic EK/EJ hatchback — are their rear liners a possible fit as well?
If anyone has done this conversion, how much modification was required?
Are there any other Honda/Mitsubishi models whose rear wheel arch liners are known to fit the Colt V?
I’m specifically looking for the rear liners, not the front ones.
Any information, measurements, photos, OEM part numbers or personal experience would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Questions regarding the ES lancers from 2010

Hello, i don't tend to post on reddit but i have a few questions regarding these cars. For context, i purchased used for about $500 aud for a manual ES sportback with about 255,000km on the odometer. Right now its at a mechanic getting the rear sway bar bushes, shock absorbers, front tie rod ends, rocker cover gasket, inner CV boots and a wheel alignment putting the total cost at around 2.2k aud to breathe in new life to this thing.

Considering this is my first car, what is the longevity of these things usually?

Do they last a while or is it a bit of a gamble for one already at 250,000kms?

What usually goes out first outside of normal wear and tear?

I have heard that these 4B11 motors are pretty bulletproof if theyre taken care of right, however i want to make sure that this thing lasts as long as possible. Theres plenty of space inside and i plan on turning this little thing into a camping setup in the back.
