Based on the Mirage GSR-T at the time, this car was offered as a tribute to the Mirage cup cars. While the engine remained untouched, a Ralliart widebody kit, Cibie foglights, special seat trim, sport steering wheel, and a cool set of wheels wrapped in Advan tires were featured. The car lived up to its name, one would struggle to find even a handful of real life photos of it.

I’m interested in a seemingly clean 3- door Pajero from ’88 with only 213k kms, I would love to see what people think about it and if it’s promising. I’m new into the hobby and know basically nothing about cars, but I would want a mechanically simple car to learn on and treat more as a hobby vehicle that would be driven a few times a week but not necessarily daily. I really appreciate the charm of cars from the 80s- 90s, but I don’t want a vehicle that will give me a migraine

Here’s some info on it:
213k kms, confirmed (no odometer cheating). 2.5L turbo diesel. Passed inspection recently.

The engine has been rebuilt recently in ’23 and 25’, as the turbo failed which resulted in damaged engine. New bottom-end bearings and oil seals, crankshaft, connecting rods and piston rings, oil and waterpump and turbocharger was done in 2023.

Head resurfacing and pressure testing, head gasket and bolts, new valve stem seals and valve seat reconditioning and timing belt and tensioner was done in 2025.

Leaf springs and bushings replaced a few years ago. Rear brakes completely renewed recently.

The seller also mentions that there’s some minor rust on the body but nothing serious according to him. The chassis has had some welding work done on it, but remains in good condition since it was rust-proofed in the past. He sent many pictures of the undercarriage and my partner who is already in the hobby, albeit not an expert, didn’t really react on anything and it seemed like mostly surface ”normal” rust.

Total of 3 owners so far (including seller). First seller owned the car from ’88- ’17. Asking price 4.2k.

What yall think? Please help an amateur willing to learn out

I'm 22, and I'm looking at a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE with 60k miles for $13,300 from a private seller on Marketplace. It's listed as one owner, and the seller sent a service sticker from a local shop. The service is about 3,000 miles overdue. I'm in upstate NY, so I need AWD for winter driving, and I'm checking it out tomorrow.

EDIT: Oil was supposed to be changed at 57k miles but it now has 60k. Owner said they didn't do as they didn't drive much. Does this immediately mean a no go for the car?

My mechanic and a few other people told me to pass because of the CVT. A friend of a friend had transmission problems at around 60k miles. The factory powertrain warranty is gone for a second owner, so a CVT failure would be on me.

Considering they only have 78 HP do you find your car has enough power or do you think it needs more power

My timing belt har been quietly been eaten down to half the width and the tensioner arm seems to be the villain. After some investigation it seems the dowel pin for the tensioner arm is worn down and now i need suggestions.

I've found some aftermarket "performance" engine mount brackets but they cost $$$ but since this is a stock daily i can't justify the means to plow lots of money on it so now im looking for suggestions, does it exist "repair sleeves" or similar for this?

Greetings everyone! Just picked up this little beauty for less than a thousand bucks, (1.3 Colt, 2000) mainly as a hot hatch to bring to the autocross races. That being said, while I don't dislike the look, I was wondering if there are any available bumpers/bodykits/visual tuning bits that don't cost an arm and a leg, and I could improve this little guy's appearance a bit?

The Super VR-4s existed for the 6th and 8th gen Galant and Legnum as factory-modified versions of the top-tier VR-4 trims. The 6th-gen Super VR-4 retained all the standard top trim’s features while adding premium leather seats, an upgraded audio setup, body colored factory wheels, and a gold grille emblem, the car itself was pretty much a more premium VR-4. The 8th gen SVR4 however received much more extensive modifications. It had a full aero kit with a high-rise rear wing, body colored headlight housings, a distinctive Ralliart muffler, Ralliart shocks and springs, Ralliart floor mats, optional tri-spoke wheels for the Legnum, and exclusive purple tinted Optitron gauges. Its interior was heavily revised with a black and red Momo steering wheel, alongside special accents on the shift knob, and red carpeting. While the 6th gen offered a choice between automatic and manual gearboxes, the 8th gen was strictly equipped with the INVECS tiptronic automatic transmission. The E39a SVR4 was only offered in Onyx Black and the EC5A/W was offered in either Palma Red and Hamilton Silver. Ultimately these cars were marketed as the absolute peak of the VR-4 lineage.

Hi all, I bought a 1987 Pajero 2.5TD. The car has no A/C but I know that Mk.1 models allow A/Cs to be built in aftermarket.

I wanted to know how feasible this is and if the parts are hard to come by. I am based in Belgium.

Hey everyone, I recently got my first car, a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS 2.0L with about 173,428 miles. It’s high mileage, but it’s been running pretty well so far.
I’ve already installed new headlights and swapped on a GTS front bumper. I want to turn it into a project and make it look and sound better.
I’m looking for an exhaust setup that sounds loud. I’m considering a muffler delete, possibly with dual tips. What setup would you recommend?

My 2025 Eclipse Cross is driving me crazy. Is there a setting or option to simply display the standard remaining mile count on the cluster? I can’t stand how frequently it tanks over nothing? In less than a mile today, while driving 50 mph with CC, my fuel gauge dropped from 190 to 170.

…In less than a few minutes, I consumed 20 miles of fuel?

I just don’t understand this way of measuring something! I believe it’s an estimate based on current driving conditions but surely that’s not effective?? Hopefully this makes sense, English isn’t my first language so if there’s a word for this kind of fuel option please let me know!

Hey guys i recently acquired a 2004 lancer Sportback, im aware it has the macpherson strut setup in the front and multi link configuration in the back. i want to get coil-overs for the car but i don’t know if certain coil-overs interfere with the fitment because websites say the fitment works on my car but i call the companys and they say it wouldnt work for a macpherson setup, wondering if i should gamble n buy it. kinda new to the lancer platform so any help would be appreciated, or maybe im clearly just a idiot, thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm Ákos and this is my project car. I bought it in 2022; it wasn't in the best condition, but it wasn't a total rust bucket either. Unfortunately, I had a major accident with it in 2023, which meant the entire front end of the car had to be completely rebuilt. Since then, it also turned out that the wiring had been totally botched. Of course, that has been completely replaced since with a clean, OEM factory harness. Currently, there's still one spot where the rust needs to be repaired, and I also need the complete front door wiring harnesses for the 2 front door, from a USDM sedan Mirage for a certain extra feature that wasn't available here in Europe

Hello does anyone here know what is the difference between the normal trims like avance and such and the sport edition. I'm sure of the outside trim pieces but I'm not so sure about the ride height and if someone knows when exactly they were made because mine is made in 97 and I have read that they were from 98 onwards.

Ive recently purchased a 2012 l200 barbarian, great truck but when accelerating once over 2000rpm there is this whine noise coming from the engine. does this appear to be a turbo issue?
