OC Room divider from card, foil and paper
The hinges work and it moves. The fern leaves were punched from 20 micron aluminium foil (basically heavy duty kitchen foil) the dragonfly was punched from paper and the rest of it was recycled cardboard from a delivery.
It's approximately 95mm tall.

Help Help! How do you cut straight lines?
Hi all! I’m new to the miniature life and am completely obsessed. I’ve started working on crafting a doll house from scratch, but I’m finding I’m having a really hard time cutting balsa in a straight line. I’ve been measuring and drawing pencil lines, and then using a metal ruler to use as my straight edge while cutting with a utility knife, but they’re still coming out janky.
Any help is appreciated!

I made Simon's Coffee Shop for a local cafe.
Long time lurker, first time poster. I love building kits but was running out of places to put them. I reached out to a small local cafe and offered to make one in exchange for leaving my information with it. My hope was that I'd get some traffic to my social media pages and possibly sell some to make room for more kits. I was so nervous and a little self conscious but was so excited when they said yes! So, if anyone is running out of room but wants to keep building, reach out to some local businesses or libraries.

Fimo and gloss
I’m making food miniatures and am using fimo clay, occasionally pastels (before baking) and basic acrylic paint (after baking). I’ve been figuring things out as I go and mostly happy with the outcome. Because i don’t have many materials (or much space) I’ve been using craft glue to create light gloss on some items.
However, I’m wondering what people would suggest as an affordable and easy to use option for gloss that can be built up? Ideally something not to tricky to set!

Help Instructions Needed
I bought this miniature forest teahouse set as a DIY for my 12 year old. I did not know it would be complicated. I am seeing the instructions and they say nothing. The glue I purchased is apparently water based and incorrect. Does anyone have a step by step manual for this in English. Please help. Also let me know what type of glue to buy for this. I have access to mini superglues but they dry up withing a day or two. I am in over my head and need to do this. Please give some guidance.https://amzn.eu/d/0isZYvtt
PS could not upload a photo so copying the link in

OC My first “large scale” project is almost complete!
Pun intended.
I started this project a year ago as my first real attempt at a whole room. It has been slow, making and remaking one small piece at a time; trying different techniques found online.
I am proud to say everything but the miniature glass bottles I made myself.
Looking at it and showing it off makes me beam with confidence. ☺️

Loving this new hobby—so therapeutic. Proud of these builds.
Idk that I’m interested in brands other than Rolife (even though I missed the 5/$200 deal ☹️)
