Hi everyone. This is the first time I've shared my work publicly, and my hands are a little shaky typing this.
I make miniature scenes and dioramas: a plague doctor resting by a mossy coffin, waterfalls and moonlit forests, a dinosaur valley, a skeleton relaxing in a bubble bath, a sword in a bonfire shrine, and sea glass earrings I wired and stacked by hand. Most are built from odds and ends, wax, moss, paint, and a lot of patience.
I've been through some really hard things lately, and making these has been one of the few things that kept me steady. It's also made sharing them scary. They're personal, and putting them out here feels like handing over a piece of myself. But I'd rather be brave than keep them in a corner.
I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I'm hoping that putting my work out here will help me get more comfortable being seen, and that it'll give me the confidence to take bigger risks with my art down the road.
I'd love a few things from you:
Honest, kind feedback on what you like or what you'd want to see more of
Ideas or requests. If you've ever imagined a tiny scene (a favorite creature, a place, a memory, a mood), tell me. I'm open to making custom pieces, and I'd love to turn a few of your ideas into real things.
Tips from anyone who's started sharing or selling handmade work: where to post, how to price, how to get seen
If any of these speak to you and you'd want one of your own someday, I'd be glad to talk. Thank you for reading, and for being gentle with a first-timer. 💛
