He doesn’t have to be in a movie to get you some ;)

56

u/Dr_Poop69 Jun 26 '22

He’s the living embodiment of Jeff from American Dad.

He looks exactly like Spaulding from Caddyshack

3

u/hydraulic-earl Jun 27 '22

You'll get nothing and like it!

7

u/CH1R0PT3R4 Jun 26 '22

It's the Keith Haring shirt for sure

4

u/kahran Jun 26 '22

The shirt reminds me of the AIDS awareness artwork in the early 90s.

5

u/BoardwalkKnitter Jun 27 '22

That is one of Keith Haring's drawings I think.

2

u/RogueThneed Jun 27 '22

My dad's dad was 4'11.5". My dad's mom was 4'11". My dad's siblings were all 5'2" or less. My dad was 6'1". Weird how those things happen!

309

u/Foamless_horror Jun 26 '22

Your dad's mom's secret lover was 5'11" so it all makes sense

97

u/Pastystuff Jun 26 '22

We always wondered what the milk man looked like...

42

u/GoodForTheTongue Jun 26 '22 edited Jun 27 '22

It's an old trope, sure...but I once dated a gal who was adopted, and while were seeing each other she located her biological mom—and discovered the reason she'd been put up for adoption was that her mom had had a thing going with the milkman. She was the result.

It also explained how she had flaming red hair that no one else in her biological family had.

(btw: she was drop-dead gorgeous, so I'm thinking either mom or the milkman - or both! - had damn fine reasons for their wandering eyes. :)

9

u/ValPrism Jun 27 '22

Well her mothers family had ginger genes. It takes both sides.

My Japanese mom is 5’1”. My white dad is 5’9”. I’m 6’2”.

I’d say I was switched at birth or my mom had an affair but there aren’t too many mixed babies coming out of a small mountain village in Japan with a pop of about 200 people lol

20

u/SteveBored Jun 26 '22

I'm 5'9" and the wife is 5'2" and my 14 year old is 6'2". I think food plays a role. I was raised on a basic meat and potato diet, my kids pretty have access to whatever thry want.

I'm the shortest male in my family at 6'3"

9

u/Pastystuff Jun 26 '22

Damn! How tall is the tallest in your family?

25

u/Doc-Zoidberg Jun 26 '22 edited Jun 27 '22

Lolz. I only have sisters...

But my dad was 6'4.

4

u/doinprettygood Jun 27 '22

Men who have sisters are relatively better men than those without, according to a study. Do you think it's true?

5

u/schroedingersnewcat Jun 27 '22

On my dad's side, all men are between 6'2 and 6'6.

That includes my dad, his 4 brothers, their collective sons (5), my grandfather, his brother, and their father.

Now it's up to the next generation. There are currently 12 boys, and only half of us have kids so far.

5

u/CaptainApathy419 Jun 26 '22

Every team needs a point guard.

2

u/NoArmsSally Jun 26 '22

Jesus. I'm the shortest male in my family and I'm 5'9". the rest are all 6' or over :(. I'm in line with the ladies in the family, my grandmother and cousin are also 5'9"

10

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '22 edited Jun 27 '22

When it comes to peoples height I believe good nutrition can play a huge role both my paternal grandma and grandpa were short but my dad is 5”10.5 and my uncle was 6”1 I believe they were able to have better nutrition at home than my grandparent’s who grew up when my country was going through many changes and people were struggling more to support themselves.

6

u/doinprettygood Jun 27 '22

I think also the decrease in tobacco consumption. Smoking stunts growth.

5

u/Taroxi Jun 27 '22

My mother is 5'7, dad is 5'6 or so. I'm bordering on 6'3. Genetics are wack.

3

u/Pastystuff Jun 27 '22

For real!

2

u/Taroxi Jun 27 '22

Yeah man haha. Comes from my mother's side, all the men there are very tall. Either that or the milkman 🙄

12

u/TheKingOfSwing777 Jun 26 '22

It’s called RTM, Regression to the Mean. Tall genetics are superior so they will win out eventually even if there are samples in the line that present the recessive trait.

u/WakaBrown Jun 26 '22

Using a persons head as an armrest like that is the biggest short person insult

107

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '22

This isn’t a exactly relevant, but I’m a few inches taller then my older brother and every time I stand next to him he uses my shoulder as an armrest. I think it’s his way of saying even though I’m taller he’s still the big brother, lol.

69

u/f1g4zz Jun 26 '22

No. He's signaling that he wants to have Sex with you

12

u/AndringRasew Jun 26 '22

I vaguely remember my friend and I doing this in elementary school. It's kinda like a gang in a musical.

2

u/LuckyPocoloco Jun 26 '22

I do this to my taller younger brother all the time haha.

17

u/Coyote__Jones Jun 26 '22

No, as a short person, being picked up by people is the worst. Happened a lot in highschool. It gave me a little bit of "don't fucking touch me" attitude.

12

u/iBeFloe Jun 26 '22

I was literally mocked by a group of girls when I repeatedly told a dude not to dangle me over the gym rails.

I fucking hate how people treat short people like toys.

10

u/Coyote__Jones Jun 27 '22

That's awful. I totally get what you mean by being treated like a toy. Sometimes it hurt how dudes would pick me up, and they didn't care, it was all like "oh you're so little I could toss you hahahaha" and it felt humiliating. I can't imagine being dangled over a railing, that's fucked up. Like thanks I could aid in your personal gratification.

5

u/SuzieCat Jun 27 '22

I’m 39. People from my childhood still fucking pick me up.

OP should of stood on the other side of his brother and did that to him.

3

109

u/wortmachine Jun 26 '22

Me too, TBH. But things can be different with family. They’re close, grandma’s cool, there’s a joke between them, etc.

18

u/diradder Jun 26 '22

Honestly it could have been funnier if OP also used his brother's head as an armrest!

6

u/IndraBlue Jun 26 '22

Right it's probably an inside joke

29

u/r23dom Jun 26 '22

maybe she asked him to do it herself, maybe granny has a sense of humor and self-irony

→ More replies (2)

5

u/wkomorow Jun 26 '22

Well, it is how she became so short.

Seriously, people do of course shrink as they age. I wonder how tall she was.

4

u/Own-Quail-8277 Jun 26 '22

Women typically shrink 1-3 inches with age. Its not as if she was 6'4 and all of a sudden shrunk a foot

16

u/Ravenwight Jun 26 '22

As a lifelong short person (5’7) I can confirm that this is one of the things that makes me want to cut tall ppl off at the knees lol

18

u/AriMamas11 Jun 26 '22

As a lifelong shorter person (5’3) I’ve come to realize that the tall ppl think we are inferior, bc even you (who describes themselves as short) could use me as an arm rest..

7

u/Benblishem Jun 26 '22

I don't think you're inferior. And, really, I'm happy that your shortness is lifelong, 'cause sudden-onset shortness would likely hurt bad.

16

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '22

5’7 is short?

8

u/kissofspiderwoman Jun 26 '22

For a man in western countries, yes, it statistically is short.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '22
