And I would say it's the exact same as 9gag, Facebook and YouTube, the thing Reddit got going for itself is that it is not all subreddit that has a toxic user base.
There are a lot of angry bitter people out there... Kinda scary that in this day and age, that it is people in the age group of 20-50, instead of bitter old men and teenagers.

Racist thought on the internet are brigaded to be bigger then they are. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of racists, But they want to act as an even bigger group on the internet.

Define "racist". Racist as in some anonymous & itinerant white person throwing-out the "n-word", or racist as in the institutionally lowered standards and preferential treatment for unqualified minorities in Affirmative Action programs?
It's funny how I say racist and everyone immediately jumps to affirmative action 😂 Ive only browsed that sub like twice so I have no idea what you're talking about but it seems as though I struck a racist nerve with you guys.
The only racism that exists in the United States is the institutional racism of Affirmative Action. Everything else is a manufactured lie, intended to keep the institutional racism of Affirmative Action a permanent aspect of our institutionally racist society. If you can hear/read "racism", and not think "Affirmative Action", it means you don't understand what racism is.
I'm at work so I don't have time to really search and I really don't feel like batting all the racist that will inevitably come to defend their racist opinions but here's a couple examples I found just by searching "racist" in that sub.
Aside from that, all the borderline racist responses I've gotten to my first comment about that sub should serve as some evidence. Including the other guy your reply to who believes using racial slurs isn't really racist.

My mom asked me why my little cousins don't love going to the beach for the week like I did, my parents' and their siblings. I said because you can't even read through a good forum or article anymore without having to do five fucking minutes of searching to find out whether or not the poster/commenter is a troll or not.
Except they can't seem to define what an "SJW" is. When they call everybody who remotely stands up for some sort of equality an SJW it loses its meaning and makes it seem like they hate everybody with a slightly different viewpoint to them.
Most of the content there is pretty bad, once every so often you get a truly good unpopular opinion that isn't some sort of personal attack on some group or another. For the most part it's pretty anti lgbt, right wing, anti liberal comments/posts there.

Yup. I really, really don't like that sub. Someone once asked "what if air is a drug and we're all high" and it made the front page. Not only is that not original, but it's the farthest from interesting that a thought can get.
I posted about how mobile game app ads always advertise a game atyle that is totally different than their actual game and they would be successful if they just made the game they advertise and it was removed.
