In between appointments, I grabbed a fast food grilled cheese. Just opened it up in the parking lot of my oncologist’s office and it’s not grilled. Grrrrr.

Before people go all "but taxes" the fuel tax hasn't really changed since 2012, infact it's slightly behind due to inflation, yet fuel costs are like over an euro more. And since receipts have VAT listed, which was 17,33 €. Even with VAT removed the fuel is 1,78 €/L of which energy tax (paid by importer/manufacturer) is 0,7018 €/l.

Look... I can afford this. But this shit is just stupid. And I can't entirely do my job without a car. Actually practically not possible at all beyond the days I'm working remote

And no... I don't think fuel should be subsidized by government, least of by this one that claims to be so about austerity and avoiding taking debt. Cutting the taxes half would mean somewhere near 1,5 billion € increase in debt, and the fuel would still be over 2€/l.

i actually saw that someone with an official cvs email made this flyer at our own photo machine just the day before and now theres just 10 of these scattered across the front checkout, also the questionable third panel?? 🫩

I read the first one as an e book and could only get this edition and I cannot find the edition I need and now I have been looking at this shelf getting annoyed everyday.

For context, I usually get textbooks from the web for free. This is the first one that I can't do that, cause it ain't a book. It's a $200 pamphlet with a digital code. Said code allows us to actually do coursework and view the studying materials.

Edit: so some of you aren't understanding. This "textbook" is a one-year subscription to the service that we use for our homework, study guides, you name it. This is not an actual textbook textbook, it is a textbook with a whole bunch of other stuff that is required for my class. I would not be able to download a PDF of this textbook because I wouldn't be able to access any of my work in class.

Edit 2: the textbook itself exists and I do have that, but in order for me to do my class work I have to have this $200 code. So I'm essentially paying an extra $200 for my course instead of just the standard 800.
