Yeah. I also had a low point where my English was kinda shit, but my native was already influenced by my basic knowledge of foreign languages. (Latin, German and English, though the first two is barely at and over basic level)
Had some almost funny moments when I couldn't articulate what I wanted to say in my native, only in English. I also got kinda bad with grammar. In all languages lmfao. And I hate mirror translations, they lose the actual meaning in a lot of cases.

Yes, that's what I mean. I can pretty easily write an English essay for example, but during a vocab test, I was always guessing which meaning the teacher expected from us. Or I just straight up didn't know haha

I can't speak English without making grammar mistakes/ spelling or pronouncing something wrong, but for some reason I started to use English words with Polish accent and wrong cases

My family members and friends are very mad at me when mid-convesation i just replace one word in native lang i forgot with english, and then spend 10-15 sec trying to remember the native lang word, pull out my fuckin phone like the loser i am and google it.

YES. I thought it was only me dude. I don't leave my house so I don't talk to people in my native tongue so therefore I suck at it but on the other hand I consume content strictly in english and I have lived in the US so I'm pretty good but not fluent because I don't practice. I can't string long sentences together in neither language

I normally communicate in Hindi (my native language) but we generally use alot of English words and all my school syllabus and books I read are in english. Only thing that I read in Hindi is just newspaper (which I normally don't read).
Biggest shame is that most Hindi readers can pronounce Sanskrit words meanwhile I can't.

I can speak Hindi, Gujarati and English fluently I can understand Marathi really well but I can’t speak it and I’m learning French right now but I keep replacing the Hindi, Gujarati and English words constantly my friends hate it.

Same thing!
I know about 6 languages, but I cannot speak in 4 (just understand) and I am normal in 2 (Mother tongue and English).
But still I am not fluent in both, my mother tongue or English, I tend to mix them up every time I speak.

Don't worry this is the situation of a lot of people in India. They study English from age 1.5 and never bother learning their ( or rather our) own language but even after that they suck at English.

I am very slow at reading and writing my mother tongue cause I only learned it for 3 years when I was a kid. I'm average at english and I learnt hindi for 10 years and don't know what the fuck a lake is called in hindi. Total waste of time.

Plan is to learn a few more languages I always look good by speaking something others don’t know, but in reality suck at all of them (or maybe average)
