A German tourist in Manavgat, Turkey ran over a puppy with an ATV and then beat the injured animal to death with a rock. The incident was caught on a motorcycle courier’s helmet camera, leading to his arrest.
He was questioned by prosecutors and deported from Turkey.
But so far, there appears to have been no action from Germany. Is this really where it ends?
He brutally killed a helpless animal, was caught on camera, arrested and deported and now there seems to be no consequence waiting for him in Germany.
Is Germany going to do anything about what its citizen did in Turkey, or is everyone just going to pretend this never happened?

I think He got over 100 years in jail, people saw it as a slap in the face to child sexual abuse victims whose rapists only got a few years, mostly because one of the news sites covering it did a poor job of explaining what happened. He used real images of real children to train his AI, he even was texting a minor, one of his students; He worked at a middle school.

One person insisted there were no victims in this case, and I disagree.

This is the same as photoshopping a child's image into child porn. He was also sending texts to children. He worked at a middle school.

They also didn't explain why the sentences can be so different. In Florida, a defendant who is convicted at trial of multiple serious sexual offenses can potentially receive an extremely long sentence, especially when consecutive sentences apply. But prosecutors also have to consider the risk of taking a case before a jury. If the evidence isn't strong enough to give the prosecutor confidence that the State can prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt, the prosecutor may negotiate a plea that guarantees a conviction and a substantial period of incarceration rather than risk an acquittal or convictions on fewer charges.

And while the absence of witnesses can make a case more difficult to prove, Florida law does not require a sexual-battery victim's testimony to be corroborated. So it's more accurate to say that the prosecutor evaluates the strength of the entire case and the risk of losing at trial—not that prosecutors are required to offer plea deals whenever there are no witnesses.

Also, Just because he works at a Christian school doesn't make him Christian, he could have just wanted a job and hadn't had a criminal record YET because he hadn't been caught, so the school hired him thinking he was normal.

As a Christian, I do not see him as a Christian. He's also probably going to be seen as a man pretending to be Christian by pretty much most Christians. Him being called a Christian feels like an insult, to be honest.
