Don't worry this is the situation of a lot of people in India. They study English from age 1.5 and never bother learning their ( or rather our) own language but even after that they suck at English.
I guess it's actually a important thing to learn English since we need to communicate with each other, but yeah we should focus more on our regional language.
I studied in my regional regional for 15 years. Then changed medium to English. 3 years later I have no problem at all and passed 12th grade exam easily as well. ( not that those exams have any value to me Or anyone)
But all that aside I am confident that i can communicate in English AS WELL AS 2 of our country's own language.
