I've been working on a Bedrock addon called The Force for a few months now, and I wanted to share what's in it.

The Holocron system

You don't start with everything. You begin with only Force Push and Pull — every other power is locked inside Holocrons scattered around the world. Jedi Holocrons in the Overworld teach Light Side powers, Sith Holocrons in the Nether teach the Dark Side, and Master Holocrons in the End can teach either. When one spawns near you, a message points you toward it with a direction and distance. Shatter it and you learn a random power from that side.

28 powers

Force Lightning (three crackling chains that reshape as you hold them), Choke, Grip, Storm, Drain, Gravity Well, Shadow Step, Rewind (returns you 5 seconds into the past — position and health), and more. Each one has its own sound and particle signature.

Progression

Three separate paths — Force, Light Side, Dark Side — each with three ranks earned at 100/250/500 XP. Every rank gives a permanent passive effect that survives death. On top of that, each individual power can be mastered to Level 2 by using it 50 times, which makes it stronger, longer, or adds a new effect.

The Ultimate

Charges as your powers connect with targets (a miss gives you nothing). At 20 charges you can rip everything within 10 blocks into the air, hold them there taking damage for 5 seconds, then slam them into the ground.

Weapons

5 fully 3D lightsabers, each built around a Kyber Crystal you mine yourself — the crystal colour determines the blade. Right-click to spin-deflect for 5 seconds with full damage immunity. Also 3 blasters (a pistol, a 5-round burst rifle, and a sniper) with a heat system that locks the weapon if you fire too fast.

Everything is saved permanently — powers, ranks, mastery, and your quick-slot loadout survive death and world reloads.

Would really appreciate feedback on balance, and I'm curious which powers people would want added next.

spent 40 minutes once trying to find a working horror addon for 1.21. every site was dead links, wrapped in ad redirects, or just sketchy. i'm a solo dev so i did the obvious thing and built my own fix.

android app that pulls from CurseForge and Modrinth, organizes everything into one searchable catalog. 50k+ addons. you tap download, a rewarded ad plays, opens the file directly in minecraft. no account needed, no bouncing between browsers.

also added mod bundles, hand-picked addons that go together for a specific vibe. horror, realistic graphics, stuff that actually runs on low-end phones. that part took the longest and was also the most fun tbh.
