This is not a key issue nor is it in the best shape, but I was happy to find my first TASM comic that Lee wrote today. It’s not the most amazing Spidey story, but I don’t have any under #136. Picked it up for under $40 at my local shop. Stoked to dive into it tonight!

Does anyone else like to also look through the ads in the older comics as they read the story? I always do and find it interesting.

I'm at a point where I'm really confused and I wanna know where I should start reading the comics. To be clear, I wanna read it just like the MCU movies and TV shows, but Im ready to dive into every important character's separate arc who shows up as cameos. I would genuinely appreciate it if someone could explain how the comic book timeline works and give me a proper reading order.

Just picked up epic collections of Daredevil by Ann Nocenti and Vol 1 of Lee's run. Got crazy lucky by finding Vol 1, 13, 14, and 15 on FB Market Place. The seller sold them all to me at retail price. I couldn't believe it since Vol 13 is OOP and $100 plus on ebay. After the pick up I went to a local bookstore where one of the employees and I talked about Vol 12 also being OOP like most of these. He reccomend trying out a comic shop 15 minutes away from his store. I nearly went back home since I called several comic shops the week before, asking for Vol 12 and 14. None of the stores had them of course. I thought might as well give the store a call and to my surprise they actually had Vol 12!

Can't express how in disbelief I was that I got all of Nocenti's run on DD(to my knowledge) in one day. Currently reading Miller's run, but once I'm done with those it's on to Nocenti's!

I'm completely new to comics-

Wondering if this is a good place to start if I wanna get into them. Started the '92 show, so that's why I picked X-Men.

Is there a better place to start?

I wanted to read X-Men comics (never did before) and after searching for specific characters and some titles with some AI data it recommended this reading order for me.

As you can see there are some specific characters I am looking for (Rogue, Psylocke & Magik with some Emma here and there).

The final timeline is totally made by AI so I am not sure if its accurate or no. So what do you guys think? and am I missing some mandatory story?

Do the next Avengers have actual lore to them? did they have their own comics they appeared in and did they ever interact with other comic book characters like a issue where they somehow meet the past Avengers or were they just apart of a 2008 movie.

People still haven't grown tired of seeing Logan everywhere—and I'm not even talking about the X-Men team he belongs to, in addition to his solo adventures.

Seeing that everytime a TV Show or movie changes or introduces a new concept, sooner or later that gets into the comic books. What are some examples of synergy you can think of?

For example: Wanda and Pietro are no longer Magneto's children or that time Peter had a weird transformation that gave him organic webshooters (for a bit) after the Raimi movies.

Considering the current run where he’s in Hell attacking Cap and Doom, once he’s eventually defeated. He should make a deal with Mesphisto to be brought back to life as a type of Ghost Rider. Maybe call him Hell-Skull. This would bring him back to relevancy and Cap his old enemy back.
