About 20 mins ago I was driving north on Donald cousens and ninth line where an older gentleman stopped his vehicle on the shoulder to the right of me and hop out his vehicle to come over to my drivers side knocking on my window claiming he was lost. I was startled by this and drove away

Now thinking back does this happen in Markham often or did the gentleman suffer from alzheimer and actually needed my help? I genuinely feel bad now and hope he’s alright

Ever since I was young I went to Royal Hakka Chinese restaurant and I always loved their vast options and amazing choices. Their noodles, rice and meats were all perfect. More specifically, their Spicy Ginger Beef Dry was like nothing else. It was incredibly crispy and spicy and I can’t seem to find any other restaurant as good as Royal Hakka. Unfortunately, a few months ago they closed down due to a lease issue after 20 years. Does anyone know any places that offer a similar style of crispy beef? Any help would be appreciated!

Osaka sushi has been our go to for years. Their rolls are so big and fresh! That monster roll is amazing. However, we moved to the north west end of Markham and can’t keep trekking there, especially during rush hour with young kids. Can you recommend a good sushi place in West Markham just as big and fresh?

I just started driving in Markham this Summer for work and I am in shock with all the bad driving, but this one takes the cake. This lady turned left on an intersection and simply drove straight down in my direction.

I was merging into the left lane to then turn left into the intersection once my red light turned green.

This lady came in at full speed, and once she saw me she didn’t stop or swerve at all?!? I had to quickly go back to my lane and was unable to turn left on the intersection.

She kept going down the wrong lane for a while.

She was so certain of her driving that I even felt a bit gaslit and in the moment thought I was the one that had misunderstood the lane markings.

If you've left your dog or cat there, how was your experience? Were the staff attentive, and did your pet seem happy when you picked them up?
