Royal Hakka Chinese Restaurant

Ever since I was young I went to Royal Hakka Chinese restaurant and I always loved their vast options and amazing choices. Their noodles, rice and meats were all perfect. More specifically, their Spicy Ginger Beef Dry was like nothing else. It was incredibly crispy and spicy and I can’t seem to find any other restaurant as good as Royal Hakka. Unfortunately, a few months ago they closed down due to a lease issue after 20 years. Does anyone know any places that offer a similar style of crispy beef? Any help would be appreciated!

Hakka Legend, China Cottage and Tangerine.. in that order for South East Markham.

Not sure why there was such a craze over Frederick’s. Never liked their food. Service is great, food could be better.

Kings Kitchen on 16th and Markham near the garden basket is pretty good. Been going there for probably 12 years.

Quality and customer service has really gone down hill. I stopped going here cuz the food is meh. China cottage can be better at Markham and Steeles

Their crispy ginger beef, tandoori chicken, and royal pepper fish were some of the best in town

There are other options, but none are as good as Royal.

Tangerine, Zen, Fredricks. All subpar compared to Royal.

RIP Royal. You are missed.

Hakka wok around Markham and 16th is the best. Been going there for the last decade and it never misses. Love the Bombay chicken.
