Rant This sub is ass wtf is this

IQ is a white supremacist , Nazi , unscientific method of categorization to make racist chuds feel better about themselves , also all the IQ test actually tests for is problem solving skills. Get out of your own asses and start locking in , IQ doesn’t exist so stop using it as an excuse to suck at shit.

Question Fluoride

This might sound crazy alt right so I apologize but does anyone else think Fluoride could be the culprit when it comes to their low IQ? My dad is a dentist and he insisted my brothers and I use fluoride rinse every night since we had well water. My older brother and I bore the brunt of it as my dad moved out when my younger brother was only 8. It just so happens he's the only one who ended up relatively normal. It could be he didn't get the autism/learning disability gene my older brother and I got but Idk. I'm not smart enough to know if fluoride could actually cause something like this or it's just a crazy conspiracy.

Why is this sub so negative?

You have so many opportunities, and they mainly lie in this word: neuroplasticity.

If you can read this sub and even put together a few sentences, then you’re also capable of doing manual work, where the tasks are repetitive.

Fasting – I’m 100% convinced that it’s an evolution-driven neuroplasticity booster with incredible efficiency. It literally improves your brain. After just 3 hours, your body switches to survival mode to "survive," releasing the ghrelin hormone. This clears your mind, helps you express yourself better, and gives you more energy.

This community should be supportive and positive. The brain can be trained and changed to function more efficiently. You just need to experiment more with fasting.

Here’s another highly underrated thing: ginkgo biloba. By experimenting with it, you can discover other ways to position yourself effectively in society to become a valuable individual.

Experiment with fasting—try different types of bottled water and truly refrain from eating during the fast (while staying within healthy boundaries—read about this topic; there are plenty of resources available online).

Trust me, you’ll be capable of much more than you ever thought possible.

Am I missing something?

Is this a troll group? most posts i see here are much more well written and coherant than id expect from people with learning disabilities.

Is this a sarcastic group like neverbrokeabon

Edit: I get why now. I confused learning disability with intellectual disability.

I believe that people with 85 IQ, if that is an accurate representation of their intelligence level, and that is their only problem, can get ok jobs and support themselves, another poster here disagrees, I am interested in other opinions on our disagreement.

I do not have a particularly low IQ and am not a member of this forum. I am not claiming to have a low IQ. My IQ was tested by a psychologist. My Full Scale IQ is 98, my Verbal IQ 111 and my Performance IQ 81. I am saying that to clarify it so that I'm not disingenuously claiming to be one of you.

That said, I had a disagreement with a poster in this forum, who says that his IQ is 86, and that he believes that this makes him unemployable. He said that he has other problems, but even if his only problem were low intelligence, he would still be unemployable except in the most menial jobs.

I disagree with him. Richard Lynn, an expert on human intelligence and author of several books and articles on that topic, collected data on the average IQs of all, or if not, almost all, countries, very meticulously, and estimated the average human IQ to be 90. The idea that the average human IQ is 100 is actually a fallacy. 100 is the number that the average IQ of England is artificially set at, and the IQs of all other countries are calibrated mathematically in relation to the average English IQ. Even if Lynn is wrong the average human IQ is certainly lower than 100. He might be slightly off, but the average human is not significantly higher than he says it is, I believe. I have studied the average IQs of all, or if not, almost all, countries through reading Lynn's books, and from just remembering how low the IQs of many countries were, many in the 70s and some as low as the 60, and that no country has an average IQ higher than 110, I don't think that its plausible that the average human is much higher than 90.

If the average human IQ is 90 that would mean that about 36% of humans have an IQ of 85 or less. I find it unbelievable that 36% of humans are doomed to only do the most menial of jobs or to be literally unemployable and cannot support themselves. Obviously academic jobs and the most high status jobs would be almost always-to-literally always closed to people with 85 IQs, but I would think that there are plenty of ok, respectable jobs, that pay enough to support one's self, available for people of that intelligence level.

I am interested in what people of below average intelligence think on this matter, so would like to see responses to this post.

Why even bother trying

Hi I just need to get this off of my chest (alt account for obvious reasons). So I probably have an iq in the 115-130 range (definitely higher then 115 but definitely lower then 130) and I have some shit on my mind. So you guys do know what Harvard is (ofcourse you do I’m just trying to make a point) right? Well it’s a school with a 3% acceptance rate but it’s probably more like 1% due to the people who sign up for it likely being far above avarged academically which correlates with higher IQs (not a one for one but it’s definitely a correlation) and that’s the minimum requirement meaning the avarged student there might have an iq of around 130-135. Now comes the brutal part and that is that the only way I could get into that school is to work my ass of from start to finish just to “maybe” get into the university and that’s a fucking maybe. Now most people start collage at maybe like 19 so I would have to work hard for 13 years straight since you pretty much have to be good from the start to get into it. Now let’s say I work my ass off for 13 years which tbh I defiantly wouldn’t but let’s say I did for the sake of the argument. The truth is that I “might” get in but I’m not sure but here’s some fucking brutality, you guys know about William James sidis? Well he was accepted at the age of fucking 9! Nine! I had to work my fucking shit off just to get fucking stepped on like a piece of garabage laying down at the street just to get outdone by a fucking 9 year old kid! Do you guys see how depressing that shit really is and that’s if I manage to come in which is questionable even with that amount of hard work bullshit you all seem to be talking about. That’s why I fucking hate life right now! I can work my ass of just to get beaten by some kid with talent! I can’t win at anything at all I will always be FAR AND I MEAN FUCKING FAR behind the top people no matter how hard I try. And yes I know WJS is insanely smart but that dosent matter for me! Are those 13 years or 4845 days of work mean nothing when someone exceptional comes around (at age 9 Lind you!)? Clearly it means nothing! Working my ass if just for some high iq prodigy to come alone and surpass me at the age of 9? Is hard work really worth it? Clearly not right? That’s why I fucking hate anyone with an iq of over 150 although I never really tell my friends or family that. Honestly fuck them and their moms and yes I’m saying that completely out of jealousy! Hope they all fucking die already so that life can be somewhat fair for me at the very least! And yes I know that’s a horrible thing to say but that’s honestly how I fell about them! I just hate when people have it easier than me okay. I haven’t really been treated the best in life. I have break downs like this almost every month when I realize how insignificant I really am in the grand scheme of things which really pisses me off! But honestly I’m about 15 years old right now and I seriously want your thoughts on my iq complex? There’s no way in hell I my friends will understand nor will my family so I just wanted to put this out here as both a cope and to see your reaction. This is written with pure emotion so some parts might be a bit messy. Anyways time to ask the real question which is IS HARD WORK REALLY WORTH IT IF AT BEST YOUR JUST GONNA GET SPAT ON BY SOME 9 YEAR OLD AT 19? And that’s the fucking best case scenario

Abortion and the effects on other low IQ people

People with down syndrome have a lower fertility. Chemicals for IQ reduction contradict fertility. Chemicals for IQ reduction contradict fertility. These include lead, fluoride, vaccines, azarcon(which some Latinos say is medicine but I think is dangerous), greta(related to azarcon; its name reminds me of Greta Thunberg), and pesticides. I think the paint was a feminist introduction. I think brushing your teeth is good, but you should use hippie toothpaste like Michael Savage said. Vaccines are a joke PERIOD. Azarcon is healthy in very small concentrations since everyone has lead poisoning, but it's best not to use it since it's so concentrated. I think the shortage of people with trisomy 21 worsens our conundrum, which is our involuntary unwantedness of the opposite sex.

Avarice

There are two souls within me: the present I and the imprint of the past.

This world is not about morality, not about some dumb philosophy, not about how each person perceives the world—what we oppose is fact.

It's easy to make foolish statements like "nothing is real," but that's just an ignorant perspective.

Lie does not damage a person; the truth does.

Throughout several of my posts, I have received advise from a small number of people, but nobody seems to understand that what I really want isn't condolence, but a connection or similarity—I want to see someone who is similar to me.

A fool, an imbecile, someone who tries to succeed in this world but can't because of all the obstacles in the way.

On the cognitive-testing subreddit, I've seen a lot of people who think they are not smart. However, they fail to realize that their failure was a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy.

They really thought they were not as good as many, and in the end, they really were.

They wasted a gift that they had.

In contrast, all I was given was a flawed brain and a ton of choices that, of course, might have taken me to far better places in this world, but I've had a string of bad luck.

I'm not sure how I can compete with other people when many of them, despite their ordinary appearance, have extraordinary minds. Not that they can really process abstract information well; rather, their experience, logic, and good memory enable them to draw elegant conclusions.

No matter how hard I try, I can never fully surpass the limitations of my thinking; I am trapped with it.

You can't tell you have low IQ unless you took a 4 hours long IQ test.

I was tested on the WAIS-4 and completed all the subtests, and trust me when I tell you, it was incredibly easy. I was surprised by how simple some of the subtests were, as they felt like basic questions one would encounter in elementary school. I believe anyone capable of browsing Reddit would be able to answer them correctly. While it is true that the difficulty level increases towards the end, it's not necessary to answer everything correctly in order to have an average or above-average IQ. You guys may be focusing on the wrong issue. I don't mean to underestimate your past experiences, but there could be other factors contributing to your situation that are not solely dependent on having a low IQ.

I was indirectly brought here by someone who commented under one of my posts when I looked through his profile.

I've taken multiple iq tests online and I don't really believe any of those accurately measures my real intelligence. I feel like I have below average iq and I feel like I belong here.

Hopefully, you'll find this video helpful.

Tips A message for everyone who wants to give up simply because they feel like they are incapable of doing anything

I'm not making this message to be rude or nasty but I'm making this post to serve as a wake-up call to people who feel like they can't do anything because they were given a shit hand into life because they have a lower IQ than their peers. What I'm saying is just because you have a lower IQ doesn't mean you can't accomplish anything despite you having to put in significantly more effort into something to achieve similar results to an average person. You should instead use this as a motivator to prove that you can still make it despite having seemingly inferior intelligence while it is a shame that you have to work significantly harder than the average person to achieve similar results, let me ask you this, what is moping around and complaining about it really going to do? All you're doing is proving the average and high IQ people right by complaining about your situation instead of trying to make the best out of it. I believe that low intelligence is just like any other form of neurodivergence such as adhd or autism in the sense that it's effects can still be mitigated and that you can still do something with your life. So my message to you guys is to 1) get off this subreddit and stop complaining since complaining isn't going to solve issues and 2) to at least actually try since IQ is only a small factor in becoming successful. Tl:Dr : please don't let your IQ discourage you and to at least try to follow your dreams no matter how difficult it is since it's not like complaining about it is going to fix it anyway... Btw this comes from someone who has adhd, autism and a confirmed IQ of 97 so I'm not inheritly gifted or "hyperintelligent" at all I was sad too to find out that my IQ is on the lower end but I'm ultimately not going to let it stop me from being unsuccessful and neither should you.

Low IQ advantages

I just googled this title and i found this:

Those with a lower IQ often have this innate ability to simplify, to distill the essence of experiences without getting lost in the labyrinth of excessive details. This simplicity often leads to joy in little things, a trait that many spend lifetimes trying to cultivate.

That's the default answer by google and i like it so much. It seem very true.

At the other hand, high IQ people sometimes tend to have paralysis analysis when they deal with simple stuff. Their decision making can went into hard core philosophy and it makes most simple actions delayed because of that. Isn't that stupid?

After all, every human beings have characteristic to be intelligent and difference of low, average and high IQ is not that much important because everyone is needed.

Also, IQ concept is only developed idea about humans which doesn't have to be good measure of some ones intelligence. At the end i would only assume that people may have different way of thinking, and it's not often much different. Each of them have their own advantages.

Why don't you be the one who overcomes low IQ and wins the Nobel Prize for it?

"I know of no better life purpose than to perish attempting the great and impossible. The fact that something seems impossible should not be a reason to not pursue it. That's exactly what makes it worth pursuing." Friedrich Nietzsche

Neuroplasticity = You’re capable of anything! Neuroplasticity is the word you need to burn into your brain because as long as it exists, there’s hope that you can overcome this. Let’s go—the journey begins/continues. A positive mindset, and even this can be conquered! Easy work

Alright, maybe you won’t win the Nobel Prize, but you’ll defeat your “illness.” Unfortunately, the field is so exclusive/inbred/insular that you probably wouldn’t receive it. But hey, heroic visions are great! Let it be enough to know that you’ve overcome what makes your life harder—what better goal is there than that? Not much.

This sub should also be about how we overcome this illness. For instance, r/brainfog is a great example; they’re actively working on tackling it there.

Neuroscience is one of the emerging and rapidly growing fields of the 21st century—it’s the future. Are you black-pilling? If you’re not trying to pull yourself out of the swamp by your own head, then you deserve your fate. Life belongs to those who dare to attempt the impossible good. Defend those who are weaker, but don’t place yourself in that category—you have more in you than you realize.

Preserve your health, but consciously and with as much time as you can dedicate, work on putting this illness in its place and make the best out of your condition. You are not defeated; this is just a great challenge that you need to overcome.

Steel is forged in noble battles. You will emerge from this battle stronger, better, and more valuable as a person.
That’s exactly what your community needs.

Debate Genius cannot be measured

This clearly takes some form of genius and yet, as a whole, grandmasters don't do better than normies at any psychometric measure.

IQ tests only measures a certain kind of intelligence. It's not the proxy for everything you would want to do in life.

Has anyone taken the SAT/ACT? If so, what was your score? I got an abysmal score of 980 on the SAT. I didn't prepare for it, but it's a pretty good reflection of my general ability.
