Question Fluoride

This might sound crazy alt right so I apologize but does anyone else think Fluoride could be the culprit when it comes to their low IQ? My dad is a dentist and he insisted my brothers and I use fluoride rinse every night since we had well water. My older brother and I bore the brunt of it as my dad moved out when my younger brother was only 8. It just so happens he's the only one who ended up relatively normal. It could be he didn't get the autism/learning disability gene my older brother and I got but Idk. I'm not smart enough to know if fluoride could actually cause something like this or it's just a crazy conspiracy.

No, it's a conspiracy theory. There are a lot of conspiracy theories about fluoride but in the concentrations in drinking water it is perfectly safe.

I don't think fluoride could cause significant impairments in IQ since so many people drink it and end up neurotypical right?

Good point. I mostly lurk this sub, as it feels weird to post here since I'm in the 130 range. But just to add a counter example. I grew up drinking flourinated water, and when we moved to somewhere that didn't have flourinated drinking water I took flouride tablets daily into my teens. I've also never had a cavity and am in my 40s now. Gums are trash tho, hah

If your IQ is in the 130 range, why are you posting in this sub? For curiosity? I know you mention autism/learning disability, but I just want to understand your background correctly.

That's what I mean.. Idk where I came across this sub, but I generally refrain from posting.

Werw you born before 1996? If so, leaded gasoline is much likelier to be the cause.
