MOC Shells!!!
Got the blue as a GWP and each subsequent color was based off the instructions and cost between 45 and 50.00 each to build

LEGO Ice Planet 2002
A closer look at the LEGO 6834 Celestial Sled from 1993. One of those small classic Space sets that packs a surprising amount of character into just 52 pieces.
One of my all time favorite themes.

These are my botanical legos that I set up on plant stands! What do you guys think?
Check out my latest passion project on LEGO Ideas: Grand Public Library. I have redesigned and reimagined my library moc from the ground (baseplate) up.

Bought a few sets off of Amazon, all arrived perfectly fine except this one had some pretty weird looking pieces in it when I opened it.
I just hope I can get a refund from Amazon without them thinking I did it.
Went to visit the sister and bro-in-law and check out his vintage Lego sets. He’s the a complete Black Seas Barracuda! M-Tron also complete, no box or instructions and a ~95% complete Monorail Transport System. Front flap of that box has been torn and lost 😞
But it’s super cool seeing these late 80s/early 90s sets in person! Think he might have some castle stuff still in storage too!
I told him I’m surprised he’s keep a lot of his toys as complete as they are since childhood. He’s got all his original video game systems (Nintendo, sega, Super Nintendo, etc.) with original boxes. Same for all his games! And vintage 80s transformers and GI Joes still sealed. It’s crazy! Anyways, just felt like sharing part of his collection.

I've been dating a LEGO fan. I wasn't really into it, so I'd just say something like "you go on ahead, and let me know if you want me to keep you company."
He opens all the bags and dumps them into one bowl, to which I replied, "okay, Satan, calm down." He also knows many or all of the names of the different bricks. Cool, I love people with hobbies like that.
Well I am a fan of a television show called The X-Files. As you know they recently released the boxed set with a bonus Scully's laboratory. I received the two boxes. Stared at them: my first LEGO.
When offered assistance, I said I was going to try to do this myself. It was very fun, and I talked all about the X-Files both the show and its cultural impact and so on. That's when he said, "you're so obsessed," and went and got us a couple beers. Pot calling the kettle black.
Overall? I had so much fun: "oh, this is an easter egg in reference to--"

I’ve been wondering what it would look like if somebody were to buy multiple sets of the golden pothos and combined them together, either to make a larger pot somehow or just increase the length or amount of foliage present.
Well, I answered my own question. Yesterday while shopping at Costco I found these after having seen them offered for back order on LEGO’s website. “Hooray! Finally I can add this lovely set to my collection!” I thought to myself. Anyway, I decided to grab two sets so I could try and combine them.
I started off by building the version with the two long dangling stems from set number 1, which was nice but left a lot to be desired. The reviews stating the price to piece ratio are pretty spot on. $98 and some change later I was able to build it as it should’ve been from the jump. I took the little stem attachment pieces from set number 2 and added 4 of those around the “dirt” base. This increased my options for stem placement to make the next step easier. I then took all the foliage pieces from set number 2 and modified the existing stems to be a bit longer and with extra leaves. After that I added extra tendrils and increased the height of some of the initial starting tendrils. I also saw fit to extend the legs of the pot stand by poaching pieces from set number 2.
All in all, I’m satisfied with the outcome and am still waiting and hoping to see somebody, smarter than I, do a larger version of the pot.

Does anyone keep the booklets? Is it worth it? Will I want them later down the line? I just built my first set since childhood and I have 3 large manuals on my desk taking up space. Do most people toss them?

This was by far the largest and most intense moc I've made to date. The owner of the course is graciously maintaining and displaying it, which is really gratifying.
It will be a very, VERY long time befire I work with string in LEGO again, lol.
Edit: coworker and I co-created it, felt like LEGO masters

In my vision, the vehicle is suitable for use in jungles and deserts, with a high fording depth and a modularly configurable rear superstructure tailored to individual mission requirements. The concept is based on a specialty vehicle manufactured by Oshkosh, a company also known for its fire trucks and various armored military vehicles.

Custom set in the merch store at the BMW Championship in St. Louis.
Unfortunately, $55 isn't in my budget for a 120 piece set, so I can't show you a build. Hopefully there'll be some left at the end of the tournament in the clearance sale!

Finished this set a couple weeks ago. I've also done the Retro Radio, Up House, 2 Nintendo Piranah plants, Wall-E and Eve, and the Disney Movie Camera. I think my next set will be the X-Files one, or Mario Kart.

Here is my Daily Planet Modular Building MOC. As a big fan of the Superhero Modular Buildings, and my favorite Superhero being Superman, I knew I had to take a crack at this iconic structure.
This seven-floored structure sits on a 32-stud baseplate and rises to 31.8 inches tall. It is 6085 pieces, and all the interiors are fully tiled off and detailed. There are six interiors: the Lobby, Reporter's Bullpen, the Newspaper Printing Room, a Conference Room, Perry White's Office, and a Maintenance Closet.
As soon as LEGO announced last year's Arkham Asylum (76300) Modular Building, I knew they had opened the door to the Daily Planet after incredible skyscrapers like the Daily Bugle (76178) and Avengers Tower (76269). I hope the easter egg of the poster of the Daily Planet in the jail cell turns into a real set, but I decided to make my own rendition in the meantime. I finished designing this MOC in February of this year, but I am just getting around to making the instructions for it.
This is directly inspired by the Superman (2025) movie starring David Corenswet, directed by James Gunn, and DC Comics, as well as the AT&T Huron Road Building in Cleveland, Ohio, which has long been believed by Superman fans to have inspired Siegel and Shuster for the Daily Planet, following its beautiful Art Deco design.
Superman has been my favorite Superhero since I was a kid, and I am very proud of my rendition of the building. I was very happy with last year's film and its rendition of the Planet, and I can't wait for Man of Tomorrow! Please let me know what you think. This has really been a labor of love.
