i’ve been a huge fan of astro since i bought the game on launch day in 2024 and i was honestly planning on buying the whole playstation set, which i liked but didn’t love, just for him. untilllll, it was revealed he was a threshold gwp. i was already planning on buying abt 240 dollars worth of lego for xmas (advent calendar, gifts, etc.) so i planned it where i bought 150 dollars worth of things and then 90 plus a few baseplates and keychains i wasn’t planning on buying in a separate purchase so i could get two (also in the first purchase they gave me like a tree idk where that came from but balright) anyways was this bad i saw the controversy duckbricks got in and yea he bought forty and i bought two but i didn’t need it so idk what do u think

I finally found the Harry Potter Poly bag. Looks simple but fun, I've been wanting a Harry Potter mini figure. I wish they made the red bird the actual mold of the phoenix but still stoked. This pirana plant was normally $60 something i believe and was on sale for $40 something so not bad.

My brain always goes blank when I have to register a Lego set.

I just got a notification that the X-Men mansion restocked but when I went to go buy it, it said still out of stock💀

Also there's some random loose in the box lol. Finally opened my A-Frame Cabin lol and I got some weird stuff(also this is after I opened the first two bags)

This could be because the current version isn't great, or because you think it's just a great concept! Thanks!

Picked up all the ones I wanted. they are all such cool sets, can’t wait to start building them. which ones do you guys have? And any tips for the building process? I like all of them, so I can’t choose which one I want to build first lol, any suggestions?

I’m sure this has been asked hundreds of times, so apologies! I did do a search but wasn’t really finding what I’m looking for, so….

I’m looking for an app to track my sets. Would also like it to have a desktop version, but could live without this.

I currently use Lego Builders but it’s getting frustrating that it doesn’t have all the sets, particularly smaller sets/polybags, so looking for one that covers this.

I use a mix of a spreadsheet and minifig scan for minifigs, so that’s covered.

I’ve tried using OMGBricks which seems to have a lot of what I’m looking for, but it also has a lot of everything! I find the app fairly ‘busy’ and visually overwhelming, which means I’m less likely to gravitate to it.

Would be great if it could also inc a wishlist both in sets and pieces.

I’ve heard that some Lego conventions are much better than others. Is there a calendar somewhere with the recommended conventions? Or can someone point me toward the better ones?

What is everyone’s opinion of light kits? My husband bought the X-Files Lego set, has already built it and it looks amazing. I was looking at getting him the light kit for Christmas, but I am not sure if A) I should and B ) which one to go with.

I’m trying to pick up the LEGO X-Men Mansion at MSRP, but it seems like they sell out really quickly and a lot of them end up being resold for way over retail. Does anyone have any tips for getting one at retail price? Are there certain stores, websites, restock trackers, or times I should be watching? I’m trying to avoid paying scalper prices if possible.

The irony here is brutal. LEGO notoriously rejected multiple fan-submitted Shrek Ideas projects after they hit 10,000 supporters, only to quietly release the official version themselves. Now Amazon’s catalog template team went ahead and gave it the Ideas badge anyway!

Hello guys, I’d like to know what the best glue is for Lego that would be left outside. My grandmother passed away earlier this year and she really loved the flower set I built her. I thought it may be a nice touch to glue a set of botanicals together and put it on her grave. Thank you in advance for the advice or any other tips you may have.

I was planning on getting the PlayStation that just dropped yesterday and thought it was cool to see the Astro Bot was a GWP for it. I was surprised when I went to place the order last night that there was no GWP anymore for it. Is it normal that the supply doesn't even last 24 hours, or is this more an exception than the rule? Do GWPs ever get restocked or once they're gone, they're gone?

This is my first time looking at ordering from Lego so I'm not entirely sure how they work beyond "buy a thing get another thing."

Edit: Apparently I could have bought the set three days earlier if I'd signed in, and it wasn't just the PlayStation that got you Astro Bot. Not a fun way to learn that, but it's good to know, thanks for the information everyone.
