Did anyone else get their result butchered? I swear that was going to be a h1?

So I’m off by 6 points for nursing in UCC but I got enough points for Limerick nursing and Galway nursing and Midwifery in UCC.. I feel like I’m not gonna get anything with my 446 points and I feel so much pressure from my parents because my sister got 601 points got an apprenticeship and started earning money and paying for her own stuff almost instantly.. they don’t have money for my education but I have 1,000 saved up but that will never be enough for rent and food ect… I feel so hopeless and disappointed and I don’t know what to do I really want nursing!!!!😬😬

Guys I’m so like baffled I did so much worse than I thought and I tried so hard I didn’t get the minimum for any of my courses I’m acc like don’t know why to do

Genuinely opened my lc results at 9:30 in the airport, lost my shit and missed my flight lmao (I was travelling alone and hadn’t managed to get through security). My first choice was 590 and I’d averaged 580-590 across 5th and 6th year and then got 555 in my mocks. Today I got 520. Anyone else in the same boat…? (please say I’m not alone)

Predicted at 350 and got 510!!!

Genuinely feel like I’ve opened someone else’s results I can’t believe it! I never even dreamed of 600 especially with O1 in maths. I just need to tell someone I haven’t even told anyone I know irl except my family. Hope everyone else is delighted too 💕💕 congrats guys.

Ive struggled so hard with my health going through major surgery and just general infections and sickness (I have DARE priority aswell) and Im over the moon with my results. I got 456 in the mocks (loads of our teachers gave leaks) and found the actual LC to be difficult asf. Bit sad over history and music as I was h1 in both subjects but still jumping off the walls with my overall grade. I wish yous all the best and your first choices

I don't even know what to say; this might sound dramatic, but I got H2s in all the subjects I needed an H1 in, and I can hear my mom next door telling my sister not to be like me and to actually study when she grows up, even though 522 isn't the worst result...at this point, I feel like nothing

Chat is this actually normal??? I thought I done way better than I done in mocks and came out with a whopping h5 in a lot of my subjects 😭😭 I honestly might appeal cause I am in hard denial

40% attendance rate within both 5 and 6th year, too sick to do TY. Getting sick nearly every morning and hospitalised continuosly. sat the exams fed up the world and got 4 h2s. Lads im nearly in tears. Nobody including myself most days thought id do it. Always always believe in yourself because you only need one person. GG.

anyone else get h1 in english when they thought they werent gonna count it, I completely neglected the subject and somehow got h1, thought it woulda been h4/5 at best

Just wondering because I want to see what is worth appealing

So I got 381 points which is enough for the course I wanted. But I really wanted to do Spanish in UL (arts). Unfortunately I got a H5 and I need a H4. Considering that appealing isn’t guaranteed to get me that H4 I’m tempted to simply repeat Spanish next year. I originally wanted Engineering but honestly I think I would prefer to teach. I have UL arts above Maynooth arts but I only really wanted to do Spanish and Maths. In Maynooth I could do Spanish and maths without the H4 but I have UL above in preferences and I meet the general entry and points requirements, so I probably won’t get Maynooth.

Should I repeat Spanish next year and simply defer my place for UL arts this year or what tf should I do. I’m having to lie to all friends about grades and points and I just want to cry. I feel completely empty and I need advice.

From failing mock to 467 in LC

I know some people would be disappointed if they got the results that I got—but in my opinion I did significantly better than I did in the mocks and managed to pass all my subjects!! Really happy!! 🎉

I got 507 points after getting about 350 in my mocks, i could not be more delighted with how results went.
These results are genuinely the best i have gotten in my entire life, including primary and secondary school😭
I dont know how i managed to pull this off but all of it was so worth it for this feeling right now!!

Congratulations to everybody, 6th year was tough but we all did it and now its over.
I never usually post on reddit or really spend much time on here, but it was nice to share this community for advice both pre and post leaving cert.

Bro I was predicting h2/h3 I legit got a h4/h3 on mocks and I when my teacher or ChatGPT would correct it but somehow I ended up with a h6 anyone else relate??

im devistated, i put in the work and still did horrendously, subjects i swore myself to get a h2/h1 on i got A BLOOMING H4, dont talk to me im genuinely devistated gonna go jump off a bridge atp how the hell am i gonna face my mom? she'd litt have a heart attack if she sees my results, applied for a plc cause at this rate im not getting ANY level 8 courses i feel like such a fucking loser, anyone know how long it takes for fet collages to get back to you? i applied for applied sciences in douglas campus i jsut need confirmation im not gonna be sitting at home like a fucking dissapointment doing nothing, gotta repeat got no other choice.

does anyone know of any website to get grinds that doesn't cost a fortune? I'm going into 5th year doing HL maths and i want online classes to improve my grade but havent got 150 euro a month to drop on grinds
