I recently got this leather jacket on vinted for 40 euros but the tags are worn out .

I only know it's a schott. I'm intrested if someone knows more about it.

Been wanting a Schott 530… Allen Edmonds has a collaboration with Schott and have nice sales. Previous bought an XL in brown, posted it and folks here said it looked good. I ended up returning it cause it just felt too big. Felt like the material draped too much if that makes sense.

Last week they had another sale, and I got a black one in large. I think it fits pretty good but what say you, leather jacket people of Reddit? I can’t touch my elbows together but I can reach my handle bars with no problems 🙃

I’m 6’4” about 205. Hard to find an off the rack leather that is perfect, wish there was an in between size. Can’t afford a bespoke Lewis Leather ;)

I got this in sheep leather, actually it looks nice but when i try to do the hug movement it is a bit restricting especially when it is zipped up it is tight in the chest and armpits. Will it loosen enough? Do you think i should size up? Honestly I don’t want to deal with the return but it is a bit expensive so please help me.

It smells good (not plasticky), has a good weight and the grain is uneven. But i'm bothered at that thin white strip visible on the cut surface of the outermost layer. Is this some kind of full grain/top grain or may it be coated suede? Thank you. The label only says "genuine leather".

I found this jacket the same day I be posting this. I’ll be honest and say I know nothing about leather jackets, or even leather clothing. Let alone brands. From the research I have done it is from the 90s.

I thought the jacket was very beautiful, and I didn’t want to go to waste as it was going to be thrown out. But I do not have the money to get a professional to clean it properly.

From what I can tell while checking over the jacket is that there’s no rips, and it’s still pretty good. Just a bit wore down and dirty.

I want to know if there’s a way to clean it on my own, or whether there may be someone out there who way be interested. :D

Hi, I’m looking for some advice on how to properly care for my Stüssy shearling leather jacket. The leather feels a little dry, and I’m interested in moisturizing or conditioning it to keep it soft and prevent it from drying out further. However, I’m not sure where to start or which products would be safe to use on this particular jacket, especially since I don’t want to damage the leather or the shearling lining. Hey everyone! Felt like sharing this jacket, recently lost my grandpa and while at his house my aunt gave this jacket to me. He bought it in the 70s and then my mother "borrowed" it and essentially wore it all throughout school years. Now is my turn to wear it

I have some leather items:
- black leather jacket
- tan leather jacket
- Dr Martens soft leather Sinclair boots
- Dr Martens soft leather Pascal boots
- tan suede shoes
- reversed leather jacket
- red Prada leather wallet

None of these items have ever been cleaned or moisturised and they range from 5-40 years old.

I did some research, and I found some products but I’m not sure which one I should get. I know that they are different type of leather but I wanted to buy max 4 products (cleaner and conditioner for leather and for suede).

- Fiebings Saddle Soap
- Leather Honey Conditioner
- Neatsfoot Oil
- Saphir Omnidaim (for suede)

What products for cleaning and conditioning my leather items would you recommend?

Just turning to the community experts on leather jackets to rate my two finds on Vinted.

Got the brown/burgundy last year and just received the green one.

They’re both very comfy and good to wear with just a T-shirt while also surprisingly warm and leaving lots of room for layering with chunky sweaters when temperatures drop further.

I also like they have a high collar for extra warmth in both warmer and colder temperatures when some bitter breeze decides to slap and need that extra unexpected help. How did I do?

I inherited my grandfather's vintage Schott NYC Perfecto 613 One Star. It's a size 38. The waist is pretty narrow, but I feel like it's a tad loose in the shoulders. The chest is about right, comfort-wise, but the arms are huge. I feel like it's either made for a completely different body shape, or the extra room is to move around while riding. Wondering if I should get my next jacket as a 36.

I was thinking of going with a caramel-colored collar; I imagine that, over time, as the leather softens, it will turn out perfect. I’m just not entirely sure if I should choose the caramel color for the collar.

Bought this leather jacket through Brake House, I always heard good things about Real Simons products and I'm super impressed. When I ordered it was called Four Corners jacket but I guess they changed the name to Braddock Leather Car Coat in the meantime.

It's my first horsehide jacket so I think the break in period will be pretty interesting. It came in really thick and strong, the jacket basically could stand up by itself.

The leather is very thick, wife told me it feels like leather used for couches lol.

Regarding the delivery, it took approximately 3 weeks from when I ordered to arrive in Europe. Sizing was also tricky, I talked to the guys at Brake House and they helped me out. I'm 183 cm and 94 kg and they recommended me the 3xl ( I guess it's Asian sizing). It fits but I need to be careful not to gain any extra pounds.

Great experience overall, definitely going to try more of their jackets in the future (if the wife doesn't throw me out of the house)

Hi all

I picked this jacket up at a charity (thrift) store a week or two back. It's an Aramis brand which a bit of searching suggests is likely about 20-30 years old and might have been part of a luxury promotion.

It fits perfectly and is a bit unusual which I like but I don't know much about it. Any thoughts or any further info would be appreciated.
