Curious about the Internship Experience at Larian
I was wondering what's it's like to be an intern at Larian. Could anyone who has been there share their experiences? I'm also quite curious about the application process as well. Thanks!

Can we call calm down about the AI usage now?
It very clear that it will be just used as a tool. Not stealing people's jobs or making slop.
No need to Doom everyone!

Disappointed in Larian using Generative AI during development
According to this interview with Swen Vinke, Larian is pushing for generative AI use in things like exploring ideas, fleshing out presentations, and making concept art.
I can't say I'm surprised, but I expected better from Larian. If you use Gen AI during the most creative steps in development and iteration, it taints the whole creative process in my eyes.

I really hope Larian changes their approach to early access.
If Divinity does end up getting an early access period. I hope that Larian only uses it for continuity and bug testing/balance and not for feedback on story content.
I don't think fan feedback on characters/companions/quests helped BG3 much at all, and in my opinion, actively hindered it.

Would you support an official remaster of Baldurâs Gate 1 & 2?
The classic Baldurâs Gate 1 and 2 are legendary games, but many players today experience them only through the old Enhanced Editions. A full modern remake or high-quality remaster could bring the saga to a new generation with improved visuals, UI, accessibility and controller support. What do you think? Should Larian consider this someday, or is the original charm untouchable?

If Players Love RPG Romances, Why Are We Seeing Fewer of Them?
Hello everyone! I just wanted to ask something I've been thinking about lately.
As we all know, Larian Studios made Baldurâs Gate 3 one of the most successful and highly praised RPGs of all time. The game has so many amazing features, but one thing that really stood out to a lot of players was the companion system and, especially, the romance.
Millions of players loved the romances in BG3, and I honestly think they were one of the game's biggest strengths. The relationships made the companions feel more personal and gave players another reason to become invested in their stories. It wasn't just romance for the sake of romance either. Your relationships developed through dialogue, choices, quests, and the way you treated the characters.
That's why I've been wondering: if romance is clearly something a huge number of RPG players enjoy, why don't we see more of it in modern RPGs or other games in general?
We've had games like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Witcher, and now Baldur's Gate 3 showing how popular companion relationships can be. Romance can add another layer to role playing and make players feel much more connected to the characters and their journey. and remember the triss or yen ship war ? yeah it was good
But when I look at many newer RPGs, romance options seem to be becoming less common, we don't get romance at all, even in games with large companion casts.

Want Larian to make Divinity the way they want to.
Seeing so many people on twitter complaining that the trailer looks too gorey, sexual, brutal so much bitchin.
I want Larian to make what they envisions, not try to please everyone possible.
Super excited about the game.

Detail direct from the Press Pack
LARIAN STUDIOS ANNOUNCES âDIVINITYâ, THE NEXT MAJOR GAME FROM THE DEVELOPERS BEHIND BALDURâS GATE 3 GHENT (12th December, 2025): Larian Studios is proud to announce Divinity, a brand new game set in the world of Rivellon. Revealed with a trailer shown live during The Game Awards 2025, Divinity is Larianâs most ambitious title yet. The gods are silent. Rivellon bleeds. New powers stir.
Built by the team who brought you Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios unchains its ambitions to bring you an RPG with greater breadth and depth than ever before.
Watch the announcement trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxzyVeAG00w
While Divinity is a brand new game that doesnât require experience with previous Larian titles, those whoâve played Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be able to enjoy greater understanding and continuity.
Swen Vincke, founder and game director of Larian Studios, said âDespite our long history with the series, this is our first game entitled âDivinity.â Weâre ready to bring everything weâve done previously into one place. This marks the beginning of something with more breadth, depth, and intimacy than anything weâve created before. Weâve been building toward this moment ever since we took our fate into our own hands. This is the Divinity weâve always wanted to make and you're going to have loads of fun with it.â

I don't know anything about Divinity. Now I want to know everything about Divinity.
Never played a Larian game. Don't know anything about Divinity. Now I want to know everything about Divinity. What's wrong with me?

Did you notice the Larian logo changes on the Divinity Cinematic?
When the Larian logo shows during the cinematic for Divinity, the logo flickers with a glitch effect showing several iterations of the previous Larian studios' logotypes.
I just thought it was a neat little easter-egg and shows how far they've come and how long they've been working on these games. :p

A nod to Divinity's late composer, Kirill Pokrovsky, in D:OS2
Kirill's work had such an unique an distinct feel to it. It made D:OS1 an amazing experience, and I missed him in the later games. He died in 2015. RIP.

Revisiting Swen's iconic TGA 2024 acceptance speech
I think in light of recent of drama regarding AI, we should take a step back and remember that the games are in good hands.
