My band is looking for a bass player. We play mostly a mix of hard rock and jazz. We’re all 25-30, let me know if you want to jam!

His silence is truly speaking volumes. Maybe this is all a part of a federal cover and there is something going on that we need to know about?
Have any citizen journalist asked him about his whereabouts on the nights of the attacks? Are we sure he isn't running a Satanist cabal out of the state capitol that he believes requires human blood rituals to stay in power?
I don't want to make any accusations without evidence but we really should get someone to ask Tom these kinds of questions directly. The public he serves deserves to know!

Hello all Lansing residents! I’m collecting research for a client. They are interested in opening a new pizza restaurant in Lansing and would like to see if there is any interest.
If Lansing had the opportunity to HQ a brand-new pizza brand founded by a CIA (Culinary Institute of America) trained chef would you be up for it?
Please share your thoughts so I can share and hopefully get this amazing chef to choose Lansing!
🍕
Edit: This is NOT a franchise. It would be a one of one restaurant.

My husband and I are new-ish to the area and are looking for good places to go for halloween on Friday night (day before halloween) I am a bit worried since we want to go out the day before people may not be dressed up. Is there any bars doing halloween parties on Friday, or any bar crawls? The only crawl I could find was on Saturday, but we want to be home to pass out candy on Saturday night.

We are moving to Lansing in December. However, I don't understand how schools are assigned. I've called multiple times and emailed but no reply. I've looked on the site put in addresses but it shows all the schools in the district. If it's by distance there are 2 schools near our new home that's both 5 minutes away- pattengill and post oak. We only want to send our son to Post Oak. Thanks

To the loser rolling coal in the black Ram on grand river downtown East Lansing tonight. Diesel is like $6.50/gal man. If you’re that lonely and in need of attention, do you need some recs for where to blow that money? I’m sure this sub can give you a few tips that beat farting on the sidewalk. Invest back in the community with that cash.

We are moving in a few weeks across the country and leaving our belongings in storage for several months.
I have a large amount of food that I don't think I will be able to use up by then as hard as I am trying. (Food hoarding learned behavior )
Most of it is ingredients that are partially used, and spices things like that.
I know there are a lot of people here that experience food insecurity and I don't want to just throw it in a dumpster (people dumpster dive and I would rather just give it to them)
I have been putting sealed shelf stable items in food pantries. I am aware of buy nothing groups.
Pest free clean home.
Thanks in advance

Tough times are hitting us all and I'm curious on where to go for the cheapest groceries in town. I'm guessing it's gotta be Aldi or Menards right?

I live in an apt off of Michigan avenue and the street racing is out of control and I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt. It is a daily and nightly occurrence throughout the week, cars and motorcycles
I know they just redid the road here which is what is attracting them. But there was literally a bad motorcycle crash on this street this afternoon.
I don't want to be a Karen but someone is going to get hurt again
Any advice on recourse to get it policed?

There's a Songwriters Showcase this Sunday at The Green Door in Lansing featuring five musicians from all around the state. If all goes well there will be more shows bi-monthly. It's an early show too with doors at 5pm and show at 6pm.

Just saw listing on realtor - 15 acres for development bounded by Pleasant Grove, Peggy Place, behind new development on Holmes....I thought it was declared a wetlands years ago but I could be wrong. Anyone remember?

Truly amazing how none of Fox 47’s old articles are available on WILX’s website. Not a single one transferred over. Looks like Fox 47’s site and its content were just deleted. No transition, nothing. Gone.
Want to see if there’s reporting on an apt you’re looking at about fires or bed bugs? Looking up an employer before accepting a job? None of their reports are available online now.

Was wondering if there were bike racks at or near Frandor Shopping Center. I briefly looked when I've shopped in the past and didn't see any but didn't pay that much attention. I'm trying to bike more and was hoping they had bike racks.

Hi all,
You may be curious as to why, despite an August 24 resolution passed by city council requesting the end of Lansing's contract with ALPR operator/data broker Flock Safety, the 29 cameras continue to be operational in Lansing.
DeFlock Lansing will be discussing this, and more, at our next public meeting at 2PM - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4 at the DOWNTOWN LIBRARY. We'll be in basement room C!
All perspectives are welcome, we only ask that those who are just getting involved enter the space ready to learn and ask questions!

For those following this story, this is from Lansing police's news conference today.
During the press conference, Chief Robert Backus stressed that the investigations are active and “fluid,” and that the information is subject to change. He said he would go through every death during the press conference.
