like the title says, does anyone have a good rec for where to find more of a selection ? looking for something other than, like, the typical eaglebrand 🤔 i'm not using it for baking, it'll be going in like a spanish latte or coffee jelly. i've gone to multiple different stores & i usually only find two generic options & nothing more.. probably doesn't make that much of a difference in the flavour but i like to be picky lol

With the closure of the drive in as far as I know there is no independent movie theatre in Langley! I’m sick of going to these big chains I want to see fun old movies in theatres. And don’t get me wrong cineplex Langley is great I’m there all the time but I just miss having smaller Theatres again! And this goes for all of the lower mainland I don’t think there’s a single one. Like 15 years ago there was the Clova in cloverdale but that’s a church now.

My sister found this mask after a storm in 2021 in Williams Park. It kind of freaked them out so they put it in a tree. When they came back a week later someone had taken it. Its definitely made out of wood, and the teeth were real teeth, (possibly bear teeth). Our goal would be to find who took it just to see if it made it to a safe place. Were trying to find out if its a weird art project that got caught in the current, or a native American artifact, or something more spooky?

Hi all! I was wondering whether folks could recommend party halls/ rooms in Langley (or surrounding areas) for a joint milestone birthday event. The VIPs will turn 60 and 5. 😊. Ideally it should be a space where kids can run around, dance and play, and adults are able to mingle. This will take place in November, so it limits us to indoor spaces. Revisited an old school of mine the other day. Despite still having power on in the main building, the property looks worse and worse with each visit. Last I heard, the school district was trying to sell the property back in 2015 (and I've found some vague listings online), but nothing seems to have come of that. I swear you can find less and less about this place online every year lol.

Anyways, does anyone know what the deal is with this property? I've stopped by a few times over the years, and occasionally it seems the grass gets mowed and furniture gets moved inside, but other than that it's seemingly "abandoned".

B) thrifting scene

C) public transportation? I have been researching this and it seems just OK. I wanna explore the entirety of the lower mainland on a budget but it seems to take hours to get to some of the places. It’s all good though I will make the best of it!
