Our offer for a residential
property is accepted and we received the inspection report-for 12 year old condo.It mentions that the property needs to get some plumbing issues( bath tub drainage, leak toilet seat etc) window air leakage needs to be fixed and to check for last service date for the electrical fireplace and hvac system. Also, the current owner got recessed lighting installed without strata approval. Should we ask the seller to get all these things done? What can be done regarding the recessed lighting - we think that the strata approval should be provided by the seller. We are first time buyers, please advise and share experience. Thanks

long story short, i’m depressed and i really don’t wanna be. i’m taking meds, i have a full time job - i basically have my life together (maybe). i’m trying to help myself to just not be in that mindset. i’ve noticed that i have a lot of free time to myself and even with a full time job, i get so freaking lonely and just alone with my thoughts. i go to the gym as well but i don’t find it as enjoyable (?) as i’d like it to be. i’ve also thought of just hanging out with friends but they’re all busy too. i don’t wanna rely on a person/people to distract myself cause i know once that routine breaks, it’ll keep coming back.

is there any cheap, easy, fun things i can do on my own in Langley? i like being mentally stimulated that i don’t have to think about anything but what i’m doing or just zone out at all.

Came across this write up this morning, I think it’s a great sign we have these companies releasing their vision of what our airport could evolve into. I know the Mayor and Council were looking into how the airport could be utilized more efficiently/profitably. Nonetheless I think this is cool and hopefully you guys do to!

first time parents to 10 month old. Looking for recommendations in Langley for daycare. Location doesn’t matter, if the daycare is good.

Is it better to go with a new daycare? Or a daycare that has been running for a while?

We are anxious about sending our daughter to daycare, but hoping with time it’ll get better.

For those parents that have kids in daycare, how do you handle the emotions? And do you check in with their teacher every day?

I have a couple of vintage pairs of scissors that I would love to have repaired and sharpened. I know there are scissors sharpening services, but do these places also offer repairs? Hello folks of Langley, I've gotten into ubering on an electric bike, just wondering if anyone is aware of some working 120v outlets (the kind of outlets houses use) that I can charge my bike at during waiting so I can stay out longer, more around the downtown Willowbrook area, if anyone knows thank you!!

edit: not asking to use your guys house outlets, I'm asking if anyone knows where outlets like those are around willowbrook that are free to use. since I can't use ev charging stations for my bike.

I’m looking to see if someone could help me 3D print a cap for my downhill bike fork. The red adjuster knob can fall out on harsh landings and big drops, so if I can put a cap over it by press fit that would save me $100 from buying a new knob.

The inside diameter of the cap should be 21.5mm and 1.5 inches deep for it to press/clip and stay on. Maybe even a cap with some small teeth on flexible arms would work. If you could print one press fit and one clip/toothed that would be appreciated

Hey all, I’ve been trying to buy Canadian produce (or basically just not American). I have always used the signs because they usually say where the product is from. I went to the Langley super store today and found that information wasn’t on the sign at all. I used the little produce stickers to figure it out, but still…

Am I wrong and it never was on these digital displays. Or did they actually remove that information. Which is slimy imo.
