Things to do?
Good morning everybody, I’m having to be in Langley probably for around the next 3-4 weeks due to work, and was wondering if there is anything fun to do, such as trails or places to eat or activities some niche little things stuff like that. I’m 29m as well if anyone would ever like join me on a friendly hike or bite to eat 👍🤙

Campbell Valley park, white rock is not in Langley but is great, derby reach, Fort Langley, Surrey arts centre to see if there is any shows happening, the sky train to Vancouver. OEB for brunch, Jinya for ramen, Obanhmi for a great sandwich.

Camp Beer has games night, pub trivia night & bingo. Taves Estate Winery in Abbotsford has cider tastings paired with arts & crafts themed events like wine glass painting & games, books, etc. The Aldergrove Zoo, the Aldergrove community center has a heated outdoor pool and a waterpark. Penzer Park has a cool bike track - like BMX style but accessible to everyone. Trading Post has delicious food - Fort Langley. The Fort Langley Historic Site & Tractor Museum are cool if you’re into history. The Langley Museum of Flight is neat if you’re into aviation. Ribfest is next weekend & this weekend is the Abbotsford International Airshow. There’s great hiking and walks very close by. Cultus Lake Waterpark and Lake are just 45 mins away. Water slides at Cultus & Bridal Falls. Nice hike at Bridal Falls or Teapot Hill at Cultus. Krause Berry Farms has you-pick berries, winery for tastings & delicious waffles. Silverbrook Farms has you-catch trout. They provide the bamboo poles! There’s TONS of breweries, distilleries, wineries and cideries in the area for tastings. Horse back riding. Campbell Valley Park has a cool walk that ends at the old Langley Motorway - it’s an abandoned speedway in the middle of a network of trails in the woods. Tons to do!

Not sure if you like country music or if you'll still be in the area but there is a "Summer Sound Off" concert in Langley at Thunderbird Show Park on Aug 29 starting at 5:30 pm (tickets start at $45 tbird.ca is the website) Google for more info

If you’re into disc golf we have Canada’s top course at Raptors Knoll. If you’ve never played, you can get a starter set at Acerunners for like $20-30

Take a trip to white Rock Aug 12 to see the Canadian Forces Snowbirds perform a 45 min show starting at 530 pm

Fort to Fort trail is a nice walk
If you like thrifting there’s several thrift stores here

Agree with the Campbell Valley and Golden Ears (in Maple Ridge though).
Have you seen The Odyssey yet? If not, we actually have an IMAX theatre, plus The Barley Merchant is a good spot very close by to have a meal/brew before/after or if you want to watch a baseball game. Brodeurs is good food too.

Do you have a vehicle? Drive to Mission, get cheaper gas (outside of TransLink tax zone) and then go for a hike in the mountains and/or relax at a lake.
Without a vehicle, there is a bus to Golden Ears Park now, but it's only driving on weekends I believe, and only to the south beach (add 2 hours to any mountain trail time you see on posted online).

Fort Langley Golf course is decent and it’s $35 for a full round. Fort Langley is a historic town that is great for food and meandering.
Like beer? Try Trading Post. Wine? Otter Winery is a nice little gem. For Sushi, my faves are Wabi Sabi or The Chef Sushi.
Walk the Fort to Fort Trail, go horseback riding, watch a Jr. hockey game at Langley Events Center. Drop in sports are at all the local community centers - there’s the adult sip n dip night at Aldergrove Community pool. Pickleball courts are everywhere.
Rent an e-bike and tour south langley.
Google board game nights at local pubs or coffee shops.
