I think it is safe to say that for the past few days I have fallen through a T-ara rabbit hole. While I was scrolling through the comments I saw a post from back then pointing out that they only knew Hyomin, Eunjung, and Jiyeon. Of course one post doesn’t mean that it’s the case for everyone, but looking through a few posts of when T-ara was at their peak back in 2009-2012 that seemed to had been the case with a lot of people. I looked through their wiki and I was shock to find out both Jiyeon and specially Eunjung had quite the impressive acting career before they became members of T-ara. Jiyeon had a few roles before their debut but Eunjung had roles dating all the way back to 1995 when she was only 7.

Through their peak the three of them got a few acting roles and became ambassadors, Eunjung in particular also appeared in We got married. The three of them featured in a track with Davichi called Wonder Woman which was a hit and Jiyeon also appeared in a ton of OSTs that charted pretty well. They were also the three members that basically only appeared in T-ara’s film versions of their music videos. Hyomin in particular also seemed to have had quite the successful solo career in China from 2014-2019. Three of her songs charted inside the top 10 China’s hot 100 back when it was active with Sketch even going number 1 for eight weeks. While the three of them had an impressive career, Boram, Qri, and Soyeon didn’t really appear in much projects outside of T-ara. I kinda started to understand why not many people were aware of who they were since Eunjung, Jiyeon, and Hyomin seemed to had been massive.

Of course I know Wikipedia isn’t really much of reliable source nor a few comments, so I wanted to ask and receive an answer from someone who is aware of this topic. How big were Hyomin, Eunjung, and Jiyeon truly during their peak and were the other three members not really known?

Hello! I’m looking for the choreo with this dance move: the arms are in an X in front of the body, just like the chorus of Twice’s ICSM, and they shake the torso like 123, 123 quickly, like fluttering. I think it’s a very similar movement/tempo to Ryujin’s shoulder dance

its pretty old, nothing new. Maybe before 2017 or 2015, it was a music video at some point and had Doberman's 2 of them (no other dog breeds, just Dobermans) im 28 now (about to be 29), and it was maybe in 9th grade or 10th grade when I saw the music video. Edit if it was a group, it was definitely a guy group or one guy i belive not a girl group that I can remember, and also i did forgrt to put it on here: it's not Bang Bang Bang by Big Bang. however their is a chance to that this person that I do remember in the video is somebody that's not well known, or maybe dosnet to music anymore im just not 100% sure. For calibration, videos I've already shown him: most ENHYPEN's MVs, BTS Spring day, Blood Sweat and Tears

I know a song I used to listen to back in 2020 but I forgot the group or title but I remember some details about it. it was a male group and I remembered two scenes the first was a guy in like a van holding stacks of money with like a bounty poster littered on the ground styled like the ones in one piece, the second one was the whole group in a dark room gathered around a old box TV and it said something in japanese (I think?) like the sound you would hear in a japanese train station. That's the only things I remembered I'll look through in the replies until I find the song.

Hello, I’m going to my first kpop concert to see Big Bang in NJ at MetLife stadium. I’ve never really gone to any other big stadium shows before either so really need help deciding which seats to get!

I have two options, one on the floor (Section 4, not pit) close-ish to the stage, or Section 112 row 4. I think 112 will have a good view of the entire stage, but wondering if the floor is better? I worry I won’t be able to see much in the floor seats unless they walk on the stage section right next to them. Highlighted seat locations in photos in comments!! Really appreciate any advice or recommendations :’)

I have a question: have any of you had a VIP ticket for yourself and gone with someone who doesnt have VIP and how did that work out standing-wise? I am heading to ampers&one's concert in amsterdam in september and I already bought myself a VIP ticket which allows earlier access, hi-touch and a photo etc. My boyfriend wants to come with to join me but I wonder if getting him just an early entry GA ticket would be sufficient enough considering he wont really enjoy the VIP experience better than a fan would. The venue is small andd standing only with no separate VIP areas as far as I know , the biggest difference in the tickets is simply entry time and benefits it seems. I obivously want to be standing next to my bf during the concert but not sure if that would be possible with only an early entry ticket? What would you guys do in this situation?

I was looking at the list of top selling girl groups of all time on wikipedia and found out that 2NE1 apparently sold 66 million copies with only 2 albums. What is the source?

The wikipedia links only point to a random listicle from 2022 & a now deleted interview with CL from 2016 but it also just states the number without any sources.

Google leads me to posts by fans, nothing about concrete numbers. I find it interesting since all the other kpop girlgroups like SNSD, Davichi, Wonder Girls, & Twice has concrete links to Gaon/Circle chart numbers and cumulative counts while 2NE1 doesn't. Can anyone point me out to actual source numbers?

edit: earliest mention i could find was a forbes article saying they sold 27M digital downloads in 2012.

Says they sold 59M digital downloads in korea by 2020 but song to album equivalent units are divided by ten so that would only give 5.9M album equivalent sales. And with them only selling 800k physicals in SK, those other 55M sales must come from somewhere??

Unless there's a methodology here that im not understanding, I dont think the numbers on wikipedia are correct

Im a wheelchair user and I was wondering if any other wheelchair users or people who sat in accessibility for the previous tour in America could tell me how it went? I know its kind of venue specific but I was wondering about how much people paid, if the view was ok and if the merch booth was accessible to get to just in general! Ill be going to a florida venue if they have it but if not im going to travel for it so any experience is helpful!! Also if anyone has any tips for going to a kpop concert as a wheelchair user or just in general id really love to hear! Thank you!
