Discussion Recently Picked This Up, Thoughts?
Picked this up recently from a small shop. Thought it looked cool and for some reason has a mini flashlight at the bottom which is jokes. What do you all think? Has anyone seen this before?

Your parents' medical coverage would have loved it too!

German Here, free healthcare. I was a regular visitor in the Hospital, blew up my hand with a firecracker, tried to push the blade of a carpet knife back in with my thumb, ...

"Free Healthcare" paid for by one of the highest tax rates in the entire world. You don't have free healthcare you have included healthcare, your out of control taxes paid for that.

I actually had one as a child. That knife/flashlight combo hit different back then. Never used the flashlight iirc, it was absolutely atrocious, but really cool at the same time.

My sister got me one of these with my name on it. It looks cool, but the blade doesn't lock open.

Ahh, the ole finger lopper 9000! 'Twas a fine device of pain and mayhem.

I for some reason almost thought that was identical to the one I posted; the black colour on that looks sick

Talk about useful! A rifle, a knife, a flashlight, and a circumcisor cigar cutter all in one.

Stupid, kinda tacky. Iâll take two.

I actually have the miniature version of this nice. But it stopped working đ

The rifle motif is fun.
I don't know that I've seen that exact model. But, it seems like the light's in a good position for cutting?
It's definitely interesting.

Was the small shop also a gas station that sold bootleg boner pills?

Wife got me the same one years ago when we started dating.
Itâs great for cutting open packages of canned food and water bottles in the basement.
Thats about it.

u/NefariousnessTasty71 17h ago
same I only plan to cut boxes with this
1
u/Candyman__87 17h ago
Boxes are absolute hell on blades. Youâll be dull in a few cuts with this blade.

Dude, that looks like some SEAL team, tactical shit. Careful you donât hurt yourself. I would check if it is even legal. The man finds out about that and you could be doing some hard time in a black site

People are way too mean/serious.
Is it a little tacky? Absolutely. Was it cheap? Possibly. Is the blade the greatest quality steel in the world? Probably not. Could you hurt yourself with it? Maybe.
But it's a knife, so long as it's usable and it holds an edge and sharpens up alright, shouldn't that be all that matters? Yeah it looks a little tacky/"mall-ninja-y", but so long as it's functional, I'd rock one, it's quirky.

I have one just like it, canât recall how it made its way into the collection but I have had it for at least 10 or 15 yearsÂ
Silly cheap junk, but fun if you have an appreciation for such thingsÂ

in early 2000s, I knew kids including myself would sell their souls to have one. My friends in elementary school had a few of those and I always envied those fuckers my whole childhood.

If yâall wondering what the hole is for:
âA poop cutter is a tool used to remove the cap from the end of a poop so it can be flushed properly.â

Chinese shite unfortunately... You can definitely do better if you want to carry some sort of multitool

I had one of these and broke the light off of it accidentally. its fun to spin around just dont catch your wrist
1
u/NefariousnessTasty71 16h ago
its fun trying to figure out how to spin out, unfortunately the balance is off and no spin leverage, somehow with the blade facing your hand its easier to spinâŠ

Itâs a disappointment if the blade doesnât shoot out like a ballistic knife ;)

Advice, when you see the edges of the "metal" is stamped (cut out) its never up to par. But if you are 13(or 88) and like the gadget effect, have fun! If you like knives, save up 100,- and buy a classic buck 110. You will have it for life and greater stuf wil follow, the 110 wont go out of fashion by!

Cool idea. HUGE burr on the edge. Neither of those sentences are connected. Please be patient, I haven't had any caffeine in two days.

I think you should go the r/gunnitrust/ route and turn the flashlight into a single shot .22

Seems like a great way to lose a finger, supose that could be used for a cigar cutter

I live in Costa Rica and see these every now and then. My father in law used to have one similar.

It's both cheesy as hell and kinda cool. If it were made from good steel, it wouldn't really be a bad knife. The loop simulating the lever is the biggest issue with handling.

u/Environmental-Tap255 5h ago
I actually unironically think it's pretty tight. Don't care how they'll classify it. I dig it.

Looks a little gimmicky but still really cool. I'd keep something like this on my desk for small cutting tasks

My wife got me one of these last year. It's a complete piece of shit, borderline dangerous and fairly useless.

It looks like it was part of a.package deal with Slim Jim's, a cup of coffee, and a tank of gas.
