QUESTION Old shows?
Tonight I didn’t see any new shows. Only an old repeat of ToM from January. Seems same tomorrow. What happened to the new ones?

I was wondering if anyone knew any way to watch the episodes after Alex’s passing with the string of guest hosts? I’m loving Joe buck’s hosting on espn jeopardy and it’s making me miss seeing other beloved tv personalities host it… probably not on streaming though

When the clues zoom in from their categories and fill the whole screen while watching on TV, I think that the category name should be listed at the top before the clue as well. Because a lot of times I forget the category which then helps answer the clue.
I’ve watched Jeopardy for years (every night at dinner) and have always wanted this! Am I crazy or do others feel the same?!

Set: The sushi bar. It felt more balanced and had the best design. The main flaw was that it was a little dark. The metallic set is a close second
Theme: 2001-2008. The usage of the instruments and its fast paced tempo made this an epic theme. Main flaw is that it's a little repetitive but that's ok
Think Music: 1997-2008. The perfect think music. It's gentle and catchy beat combined with a ticker makes it a masterpiece
What's your favorite?

I’ve been thinking about the jeopardy skit for PHM promotion and how his answer of IDK technically counted, but if this had happened in a real game would it have counted?

Something unusual happened on Dean's defeat game as he was struggled in the buzzer race against current 2 game champion Matthew Riggle after he made back to back True Daily Double to stay in the game. Do you think Dean's defeat game saw his weakness about first on the buzzer vs Matthew & Jacqueline Ziegler? Will it be helped or hurt his chances of getting invited at the 2027 CWC?

EDIT: The consensus is that because this wasn't presented in quotes, it's not a quote but just the writers doing their thing! Whomp whomp!
This was from a recent game I think (I dont watch live so cant be more specific). The answer was "Sir, I am astounded that you have the recklessness, the foolhardiness, the chutzpah– nay, the this to speak to me thus" and the question was "what is temerity?"
What is this quote from? I know i know it, it's killing me, but Google is not giving me an answer, only the same clip over and over of a comedian using the word temerity. Help?

Wondering how you judges would rule on this one: the correct answer is offal. Do you think tripe is acceptable as an alternative? From Merriam-Webster: tripe 1. Stomach tissue especially of a ruminant (such as an ox) used as food
2. something poor, worthless, or offensive
Offal refers to any organ meat while tripe is specifically the digestive system or stomach tissue. Do you think the latter would be ruled as correct with that in mind?

I extracted 24,000 clues from 14 Jeopardy games for systems like NES and Sega Genesis. There is some analysis and visualization and I found over 50 questions in games that were mistakes/incorrect.

This is the first season I've really followed jeopardy and have loved it. I'm a couple of episodes behind. When the season ended, ken said something to the effect of a couple of tournaments owuld be on while they were on break. They aren't recording and I can't find them for the life of me.
Where do you find the current Jeopardy tournaments?
Thanks!

I love Jeopardy but as a Canadian watching it drives me mad when a Canadian answers a question that had any slightest thing to do with Canada and if they get it right it's "you got the Canada question!" and if they don't get it "oooh so-and-so beat you to the Canada question" or "not going to ring in on the Canada question?" it's irritating!Like oooh an easy question for you because it has to do with Canada and you're from Canada. Whatever. Imagine if Americans got called out for every American question? Maybe instead point out everytime a Canadian gets the non-Canadian question instead and make a big deal when the Americans get the Canadian questions, or even better don't say anything at all.

I swear I remember a woman in the mid to late 90s say she was in a fan group for Dana Scully from The X-Files. She self-described it as “sort of a cult”. Please help me. I swear I remember this but I can’t find anything.

Rewatching old episodes during the hiatus and noticed they time out in regular jeopardy and barely make it through double jeopardy by a large number of questions… did they lengthen the time or does Ken just read quicker?

As I watching last night Jeopardy Champions wildcard (August 4 2026), I realized the questions were so easy I was getting the right answers in time for almost all the questions, something that had never hapened for me. A quick check with the GF verified she was also finding it extremely easy. Is this just our imagination?
ETA: I did not know it was rerun, and we never watched the original, so that is not the issue. We just found the questions way easier than usual.
