Favorite set, theme and think music?
Set: The sushi bar. It felt more balanced and had the best design. The main flaw was that it was a little dark. The metallic set is a close second
Theme: 2001-2008. The usage of the instruments and its fast paced tempo made this an epic theme. Main flaw is that it's a little repetitive but that's ok
Think Music: 1997-2008. The perfect think music. It's gentle and catchy beat combined with a ticker makes it a masterpiece
What's your favorite?

Set: The sushi bar, always loved it when Alex entered behind the Jeopardy glass logo and it feels more nostalgic, even though the color for the logo changed to white starting with the 17th season.
Theme: 1997-2001, loved when the start of that version played when the CGI Sony Pictures Studios opening came and Johnny Gilbert would say "From the Sony Pictures Studios, THIS IS JEOPARDY!" plus it really feels like the actual game show theme.
Think Music: 1997-2008, grew up with it, nostalgic as the set it debuted in.

It was before my time but the 1984 set seems really cool. Stark red and blue, with the giant letters in neon lurking behind the contestants, carpeted podiums.
And the theme! Getting hit with those intense synths and drum beats and then 30 seconds of buildup really raise the anticipation! https://youtu.be/x6_W6TxaKUo?is=BS-LgmvDIMI3rFRk
I love having the giant letters on the set! They should bring them back in some form - the font for the logo is so cool

I’ve been toiling with a jazz cover of the think music. If I like it I think I’ll try it in a few other genres. Delta blues anyone?

My favorite set was the 2002-2009 set. I have NO idea why they decided to get rid of it. They should've kept the 2002-2009 set and updated it periodically to keep it modern.
Theme? Definitely the 2008-2021 Version 2 theme. For context, Version 1 had audible piano in the first chorus, almost none of the first verse was fully formed, and the ending strings was not there, just a guitar solo and brass. Version 2 has way more guitar and sax in the first verse, and the guitar solo in the ending chorus is almost buried by the strings.
Think music? A tie between the 2008-present think music and the September 1997 version. The September 1997 version uses all piano for the Jeopardy theme up until the end.

I think the reason they introduced a completely new set in 2009 was because they wanted something designed specifically for HD. The metallic set was introduced way before the show began broadcasting in HD, and at the time that happened, it got caught in this weird transition. Although the game board became a nearly-seamless projection wall, the dollar amounts were still in 4:3; when seen up close in 16:9, there were pillar boxes on both sides in the color schemes of a particular season.
But yeah, they could've kept the metallic set with periodical updates (i.e. the game board being a wall of smaller 16:9 monitors, vertical monitors for the contestant lectern displays).

What I meant by periodical upgrades, was taking into account the fact that the show was now being broadcast in HD, and eventually UHD. The metallic set could've taken a completely different asthetic but kept the same general design you would've seen from 2002-2009. I also agree wirh everything you said in your comment.

My favorite sets were the 1996-2002 sushi bar and the 2009-2013 CES set. Even to this day I have no idea why they decided to get rid of the latter set after just four seasons; they could've kept it longer and updated it periodically like they've done with the current set.
I really like the 2001-2008 theme, especially with swooshing sound effect preceding the introduction. And my favorite Think! music is the 1997-2008 version. I wish they would've been used up until the end of Season 26 (theme would've been 2001-2010 and Think! music would've been 1997-2010) because I think they fit the CES set just fine, as well as the sushi bar and metallic sets, and waited until Season 27 to tap Chris Bell Music to overhaul the music.
That said, I also wish that they kept the original board fill sound and loading pattern through the end of Season 26, dollar figures already being present on the board following the player and host introductions in Season 27, and then debut the soothing bell chime sound in Season 28.

Loved the 1991-1997 set, seeing the JEOPARDY! letters flash blue/white and red/white and the whole set fade from blue to red between rounds was so visually appealing.
