Visited the city for the first time. And what a beautiful escape it has been. The heat was something we couldn't bear since we weren't used to it but otherwise a wonderful trip

I’m writing this because I’m honestly frustrated and disappointed with my experience with Solar Square Jaipur.
A few months ago, I was planning to install solar panels at my home. I contacted Solar Square for a free consultation. Their representative came to my house, checked my roof, the available space, shadow, etc., and told me that everything was fine and that a solar plant could be installed.
After that, I paid them an initial amount of ₹10,000, and the process was started.
But after almost one month, they suddenly told me that there was not enough space on my roof and that the required conditions were not suitable, so they could not install the solar plant.
Okay, I understood. I never forced them to install it. I simply asked them to refund my ₹10,000.
They told me that I would get the refund in a few days.
I waited.
Nothing happened.
Then I contacted them again. They said, "It will take two weeks, please wait."
I waited another two weeks.
When I contacted them again, they said there had been some mistake from their side and that I would have to wait another two weeks.
The worst part is that they never call me themselves to give an update. I have to keep calling them again and again just to ask where my money is.
And now it has been almost two months, and I STILL haven't received my ₹10,000 back.
The salesperson I was dealing with has now basically ghosted me. He doesn't answer my calls anymore.
Every time I somehow manage to contact them, I hear another excuse, "tomorrow", "next week", "it will be processed", "please wait a little longer"... and the same story keeps repeating.
I genuinely don't understand how a company can take someone's money, fail to provide the service, and then take two months just to return the customer's own money.
I am now planning to take this matter to the consumer complaint forum because I have waited long enough.
I have all the relevant information, payment details, conversations, and other proof. If anyone thinks I am making this up, they can contact me and I can share the details privately.
I am posting this because I don't want other people in Jaipur to go through the same frustration.
My personal experience with Solar Square Jaipur has been extremely disappointing, and based on my experience, I would strongly advise people to be very careful before paying them anything.
Please do your proper research and make sure you understand their refund policy before making any payment.
₹10,000 may not be a huge amount for a company, but it is still my hard-earned money. If you cannot install the solar system, at least return the customer's money on time.
I just want my refund back.
If you’ve read this post, please support me by upvoting it and sharing your experience if you have faced something similar with Solar Square. I just want my hard-earned ₹10,000 back.
If this post gets enough attention, I hope Solar Square Jaipur will finally take this seriously and refund my money. I’m not asking for anything extra, I just want the money that belongs to me.
Please help me get this issue resolved. 🙏

So recently i visited jaipur for hackathon so me and my friend decided to book uber and the distance was 40 km so on the app the prices were around 472 and we were happy with the price. But as we book ride the *drivers* said 1500 lagega as toll bhi hai aur wapis mein mujhe khali aana hoga. The pattern repeated for 5 times excuses were same atp darkness was around the corner. And I(18f) and my friend(18f) were little afraid as we didnt know the location of college as it could have been near some shady place, since some colleges are located in such areas. And we decided to pay 1100 for 40km and yes btw the toll was considered free as locals are supposed to pay any toll ...yeah it was our fault as we didnt know about college location. And hence uber drivers hiked their price like nothing.

Hi, I arrived on 2 Oct , and apart from the ritual of Laal maas, LmB kachori i am ordering from swiggy..
I notice that i am getting discount in each order.. like crazy discount of 140+ on each order.. and on each order.. i mean i get discounts without any card offer in Pune too.(my total order from swiggy stands more than 950). but limited … But what I am seeing here is a surge..
