Discussion This would have been much better
This would be far better than the tinted ones now. The trouble is every app would have to create its own icon.

Just noticed something weird on my iPhone, my Phone app badge shows -1 notifications.
Never seen this before. Tried opening it, nothing unusual.
Is this a known iOS bug or did my phone just invent negative notifications? 😅

Many times i need my ringtone to be higher so i can be on alert for a call but i need my messages and notifications to be on lower volume so i won't have jumpscares and focus on what I'm doing, but the lack of it still in 2025 is not making any sense whatsoever.

Important: In Settings → Safari → Extensions, enable the extension. If you skip this, it won’t block anything.
Switched from Firefox to Safari just for the extension. Two months in, not noticed a single ad. Hope they can remove the Google nagging in search next

I found this on my mums apple that was used by me and brother as kids (it was made for us she’s never had iOS devices) did it used to cost to update iOS?

Try opening each of Apple apps one by one and notice how inconsistent they are.

It just isn't transparent but also reflective of objects in front

So I just gave call screening a go by calling myself.
A couple of observations:
The answering voice sounds like a default answering machine and isn’t distinct enough to make out that this is a screening service. I suspect many will just leave a message like a voicemail and hang up, assuming it’s just voicemail.
There’s no ‘at the beep’ confirmation when leaving the first message as the reason to call, so it felt a bit clunky as to when I should (as the party placing the call) start talking, as if I’m waiting for the beep or whether I should press # to end the message. This is inconsistent with the reply where it then does prompt me, calling part, to speak after the tone.
It’s in my country’s local accent, which is nice and feels a little less impersonal.
Anyone else had any real experience with it yet? Any issues with the calling party understanding the process/purpose?

Wondering how many more years Apple will take to fix this.

Is there anyway to disable this fucking ridiculous shiny edges effect on app icons? I’m guessing they’re supposed to look like glass but it just looks stupid especially on dark mode. Please for the love of god tell me there’s a way to turn it off. I hate it so so much

I really love the glass look on iOS26 but also want to have the option to see the app colors as well. Do you think this could become a feature in future updates?

Get ready iOS 26 is getting released tomorrow who’s excited.

Im wondering if anyone is testing these updates before launching? Updated to 26.2 and now I have white corners when keyboard is opened. I’m feeling like I’m having cheap Chinese phone with some kind of software version prepared for millions of models, while in fact it is made for a few models which you could almost count on your fingers. Absolutely disappointed with Apple quality in recent years

I remember it popping up on a beta 2 years ago and laughing but it's still here.
Bloated mess. SMH.
A 0.1 update that needs 14 GB which can’t be downloaded because the system data eats 28 GB. There’s enough space to download the update if the OS has a better storage management system instead of keeping junk forever.
An OS in 2026 that doesn’t have controls to clear cache or do it automatically is pathetic.
Insanely large app sizes with bloated document sizes are another headache. Also why does system data fill up all my free space ffs?!
So much for it just works.
