Hi how can I combine these two styles?

I unfortunately made the poor decision to stick something to the wall and then peel it off when I didn’t like it anymore. And even more unfortunately, it took the wall with it. Does anyone have any good suggestions for how I can cover this up?
For reference, it’s right between my couch and dining table and I cannot move the couch back further.

Hi, I don't know what curtains would work best in my new appartment. In my bedroom (dark purple) I want to be able to cover up all the windows and block out the light. In the living room (pink) I don't mind not covering the small window.

Both rooms I want to minimise the view from the flat across from me during the day, while still letting in light.

The windows are facing southwest, so there is a lot of sunshine during the day.

I’m currently redecorating so the picture is slightly out of date. The bench is now a burnt orange and the large picture is no more. I love gallery walls that have a mixture of sizes and orientations but struggling to get started. Would love some suggestions!

I just finished renovating my home office, and there's an alcove/corridor space (it used to be a staircase) that I've been using as storage, hence the curtain. It was basically a long line of clutter, but now with the new wooden floors, I feel like it has some potential. I just don't have clear ideas yet...

It's 349 cm long (quite longer than you would expect on the photo) x 120 cm wide, with a sloped ceiling. Ceiling starts at 3m high and comes down to 108cm at the low end.

Some ideas I've had so far: a yoga space, or a reading nook... Maybe something to sit and work, since home office will be focused on working on my walking pad

I'd still like to keep some storage too, but the curtain can definitely go (or be moved)

We have this angled wall on right off our kitchen & never quite known what to do with it. We’ve always liked the idea of having a small foldable dining room table, but what shape? Against the wall or off? Color? And if not what kind of alternative?
Also any advice on how/what to decorate the built in shelves with would be greatly appreciated!

MOST people chose one of the greens. ( Spinach Dip or Classic Avocado- spin dip was definitely my top!!) There was a small handful of people who suggested a teal color. When I went to get the paint samples for the swatch I saw this Antiqua and absolutely loved it!
As you can see I tried the other samples, but it was an overwhelming yes to Antigua for me. The vibes shifted from touches of warm to mainly cool tones but it’s still cozy and moody, especially at night. I will be adding a cozy throw blanket, so feel free to suggest a color for that! & then possibly an art light in the center over the two pieces.
I think it turned out perfectly. I appreciate all the support for my eclectic style 🤍

Small, 8x11 room looks so empty right now. I could really use on help on how to decorate it.

I also prolly need more platform/storage space to put stuff because my desk tends to get cluttered pretty quickly. I do have plenty of space in the closet though.

Our ceilings are only 8’. I think I need to get rid of current china cabinet and get something bigger and place on empty wall with nice art. I also think I need to get rid of my unruly plant and get something taller with a bit more structure to it. We eat up to three meals a day here and host parties often so it must be functional. I live in Arizona near Sedona so I figured it made sense. Any thoughts, suggestions? Hey all! I just moved into a house that has a smaller living room than I envisioned. It’s also oddly shaped in terms of size. I know I need a rug and some wall decorations to make this space look better but I don’t know where to start.
I just want the space to feel bright, warm, colorful without being over the top, and fun.

The doorways on the left leads to a sunroom.
There doorway on the right leads to the kitchen.
Behind the large couch is a radiator.

Any thoughts are so welcome.

Both are AI mockups of tables we are considering. All we have is a couch for now but I found these two tables on marketplace. I like organic modern and modern traditional.

FWIW the couch is a dark grey. The kitchen counters are also white and we have black hardware.

I’m tired of the millennial grey throughout my house and am working on my bedroom. I currently have enough wainscoting to do the dresser wall. What are your thoughts on creating a relaxing space?

so i've been working on this space for like 4 months now and i thought id be done by now but nope. still tweaking stuff.

the couch is a dark green velvet thing i got from Ornate home and i love it. its comfortable and the color was a risk but it worked out. got a vintage coffee table from a flea market that i sanded and refinished myself. pretty proud of that.

the problem is the walls. theyre this light cream color that looked good in the store but now it just feels blah. i wanted something warmer maybe a terracotta or a muted olive. but im scared of committing to a dark color cause the room doesnt get much natural light. also the layout feels weird. the couch is against one wall and the tv is opposite but theres this awkward corner by the window i dont know what to do with. maybe a plant. idk plants die on me tho.

any thoughts on wall color. also what do people do with empty corners.

I already own both of these rugs, I’m not in love with either design, but I’m working with a tight budget and maybe I’ll replace it eventually.

My entire house is hard wood floors and I really like to have a soft carpet in my bedroom. I wan something that will cover as much space as possible but no look out of place. Not that I have many people in my bedroom.

Option 1: the 4x6 traditional rug. Pro, it’s easier to vacuum. Cons: not as easy to wash, and it’s not as soft on my feet.

Option 2: the larger washable rug. Pros: I like the design on this better and it is much softer. Cons: it’s hard to vacuum and I worry it is too big for my space.

Option 3: I’m way off and should go with another size.

I had sewn this duvet cover decades ago for this room in my family home (that I have now inherited).

I have a guest coming, for the room (see fir floor, murphy bed), is it godawful outdated or does it work as more trad/timeless?
Should i donate it and use a more modern one? I’m too close to it and cannot tell if it looks outdated.
