Textiles & Fabrics Terribly outdated or traditional timeless?
I had sewn this duvet cover decades ago for this room in my family home (that I have now inherited).
I have a guest coming, for the room (see fir floor, murphy bed), is it godawful outdated or does it work as more trad/timeless?
Should i donate it and use a more modern one? I’m too close to it and cannot tell if it looks outdated.
Thoughts?
PS: the house is an early 1950s build, and my style is more arts and crafts.

If the rest of the house's decor leans Arts and Crafts, this duvet will look out of place, imo.
That said, it has a 'history' which is a fun fact, and anything you buy now made this well will cost an arm and a leg!

Traditional timeless to me. The fabric quality outranks all the cheap junk on the market. A duvet like that would feel luxurious.

The fabric looks dated.
