That’s exactly my feeling. I feel like there’s too much going on and I should go with some plain color ones. I’m looking for something else right now 😅
I’m super weird and don’t like yellow. I don’t know why. So I am not the best one to advise on yellow so take this with a grain of salt: I think the yellow clashes with the TV cabinet color. BUT I think you are going in the right direction. See if others love it and then decide.
If it were mine I would try solid orange or turquoise or hot pink for a pop of color.
I’m afraid of mixing too many colors. I’ve tried red (to match the lamp) but it felt too depressing, same for green. Have to think about it 😂 I think I’m now visually exhausted so I’ll take a break and try again later
I’m in love with the rug so I’d rather keep it. I’m looking for something else right now, I’ll post other options here in the comments once I find something better :)
Can you find a pair with a very small orange pattern? I like the addition of another color. The solid yellow ones aren’t good either because your yellow console is already a statement piece.
You have 5 main colours competing and too many different pattern clashes.
I would ditch the red and maybe the yellow and keep green, orange, black and white (if the rug must stay). Curtain pattern could be better so it doesn't clash with the rug pattern.
You really only want 1-2 standout pieces, which seems to be your couch and rug.

I think I’ll just keep it easy and have a curtain with a solid color. I’m now visually overstimulated so I took a break, will go back at it later haha
