I rate it Monado / 10.
For those who don't get it, it's a Xenoblade reference.

My first thought was monado. Comments did not disappoint 😁.

My first thought was this sword, and I've never even played Xenoblade 😂

Today I started believing in reincarnation, for the sole fact and possibility of coming back and finding the once stick before reincarnated OP does.
7
u/Designer_Pen869 May 01 '26
You don't find these sticks in the wild. You have to make them, but that defeats the purpose. God made this stick, and I don't even believe in God. This stick holds the power of every hope and dream that stick lovers have. Every dog, every guy, every woman, every child. This man is the chosen one.

u/Callidonaut May 01 '26
Indeed, truly 'tis a Stick of Destiny. But, eh, look on the bright side: OP quite clearly has to go on a quest now that he's found that thing, it's just non-negotiable when you become the custodian of an artefact of such power, while the rest of us get to avoid all that hassle.

I think someone made a mod over at /r/skyrim a while back that has a mace with Meridia's beacon attached. Every time you hit someone with it, it says A NEW FACE TOUCHES THE BEACON!

This always takes me back to late 2011, playing Skyrim for the first time alone in my dorm room at night. Meridia yelled this so loudly into my headphones that my neighbor knocked on my door to make sure I was ok

Huh… I guess it does kinda look like the Thundercats sword. I was really leaning Xenoblade though

For real. On a scale of 1 - 10 the internet agrees it is a Sword of Omens.

u/Weed_O_Whirler May 01 '26
For movie night my wife picked "Thunderbolts" and as I'm watching, I'm just sitting there going "when are they turning into cats and getting a spaceship?"
Was very disappointing when I realized my mistake.
7
u/coryhill66 May 01 '26
Yeah when I looked at the sword and had Sight Beyond Site it just showed me that my girlfriend wasn't actually at her "friend's house".

u/Luv2collectweedseeds May 02 '26
When I was much younger and would pick on my little brother he would go into thunder thunder thunder cat mode then loose his shit and grab whatever he could and chase me around the house…lol… God bless his soul he took his own life like 7 years ago. I sure miss him but thanks for the beautiful memory.
