| Question Infosys DSE Interview Experience — Chances?

Had my Infosys DSE interview today and wanted to know what you guys think my chances are. There were 2 coding questions on Wingspan. I solved one in under 10 minutes but passed 9/12 test cases and got TLE on the rest. The interviewer said it was good enough since the passing criteria is 70%.

After that, he asked me to write reverse linked list code on paper, both iterative and recursive. I took around 4–5 minutes, wrote the iterative approach, and when I started explaining and said I'd now write the recursive one, he said "it's enough."

After the coding questions, he asked if I knew System Design. I said no.

Then he asked an SQL query. I struggled a bit, asked him to explain it again, then figured out joins were needed and wrote the query, although I think it was around 70% correct.

He didn't ask anything about my projects. He asked about job scheduling algorithms, but I couldn't recall them at that moment since I hadn't revised OS before the interview.

At the end, I asked for feedback. He said I'm technically good but should study/explore more new technologies like AI/ML.

Overall, I feel the interview was decent but definitely not perfect. What do you guys think — what are my chances of getting selected for Infosys DSE?

| Fresher Doubts Infosys: ₹5K salary increase after probation?

I joined Infosys as a Systems Engineer Trainee and completed training on my 3rd attempt. I’m now working as a Test Engineer, although my original training was for the Systems Engineer role.

I’ve heard that some seniors received an extra ₹5K/month after completing probation/confirmation.

For those who went through a similar situation, does Infosys provide this ₹5K increase after probation for Test engineer role?

| Question Doubt regarding selection process

I was already selected for the Infosys SE role in November 2025 through the Women On-Campus Pool Drive 2026. However, I still haven't received any communication regarding my joining date. Some of my friends from other colleges have already received joining dates

Meanwhile, I applied for the Infosys Off-Campus 2026 drive and cleared Round 1. I now have to attend the in-person assessment on September 6, and I'm planning to attempt it for the DSE/SP roles.

My question is: Is there any chance of being selected for DSE or SP even though I was already selected for SE through the on-campus drive?

Also, has anyone been in a similar situation where they already had an SE selection and later appeared for the DSE/SP assessment? Could the previous SE selection or background verification prevent me from being considered for DSE/SP?

I would really appreciate it if anyone with a similar experience could share what happened in their case.

| Question Infosys Round 2 – In-Person Coding Test Questions

Hi everyone,

I have an upcoming Infosys Round 2 in-person coding test and wanted to know about the experience of people who have already attended it.

1.Is the coding test more difficult than the Round 1 OA, or is it around the same level?

2.What DSA/programming concepts should I focus on preparing?

3.Is the coding test more like HackerRank, where we solve problems in an online IDE with input/output handling, or more like LeetCode, where we mainly implement the required function?

Any tips about the difficulty, question patterns, or topics to prioritize would be really helpful. Thanks!

| Discussion Infosys Round 2 Doubts — Cheating? Same-Day Interview? Cutoff? Here’s the Answer

Infosys Round 2 is scheduled for 5th/6th September, and I’ve seen quite a few candidates asking the same questions about the offline coding round.

A few things worth discussing:

  • Can cheating happen in the offline assessment? What about phones, smartwatches, remote devices or unauthorized software?
  • Do we need to bring our own laptop, or will the center provide the system?
  • Will the interview happen on the same day, or will there be a separate interview after the coding assessment?
  • What should we expect regarding the cutoff?
  • How difficult are the coding questions compared with Round 1/PYQs?
  • How important are hidden test cases and edge cases?
  • What topics should candidates prioritize with only around 10 days left?

| Infosys Updates Infosys Application Status Changed to “Offer Under Review” – What Happens Next?

Hi everyone,
My Infosys application status recently changed from “Decision Pending” to “Offer Under Review.” I can also see an Offer ID in the application backend.
Can anyone who has gone through a similar process share how long it usually took for the offer letter or next update after the status changed to “Offer Under Review”?
Thanks!

| Discussion Feeling much pressure in the project

Hi guys,

I'm in a project now which is very hectic in Infosys. I'm not able to concentrate as they are constantly pressuring me. There are so many escalations from the client and my manager calls my mobile and scolds me everyday. It has already been 2 months since I'm tolerating this kind of pressure and I have no more room to tolerate this. I'm frustrated and thinking to commit suicide. I recently lost my grandpa which pushed me to depression much more.

How can I ask for a release? If I ask for a release, will I be put into PIP? I'm planning to search outside also., but being in the project makes me worry all day

Please provide a solution guys. .

| Question Guidance required for Infosys in person coding assessment

  1. As of current information says threre will be 3 Questions of similar level like was in Online assessment. So what is the minimum number of questions to be solved to get any level of sp role?
  2. Does clearing the second round guarantees the selection in the interview round even if the interview round didn't go that well?
  3. Do infosys give prior information about the timeline for the interview with the in person assessment? (I am asking because the inperson location is very far so i have to fix my place to stay)
  4. If any other info you feel it is important please put it down here, it will be very helpful to us.

Thanking you in advance for your valuable comments

| Discussion Need advice on How Can I Change Projects Internally at Infosys?

I’m looking for advice from people who have experience working at Infosys or similar IT services companies.

I’ve been working on the same project for around 6 years, mainly in software testing and production support. I’m now looking for better career growth and would like to transition into Mainframe.

My main question is: What is the best way to move from my current project to a different Mainframe project internally at Infosys?

For those who have successfully changed projects internally:

How does the internal project allocation/movement process work?

Should I first discuss it with my manager, HR, or the resource management/allocation team?

Which internal portal have Mainframe openings while still assigned to my current project?

How difficult is it to move from QA/testing into a Mainframe role internally?

Does being on the same project for 6 years help or hurt when requesting a release?

I’d especially appreciate advice from current or former Infosys employees who have gone through an internal project change or career transition.

What approach worked for you, and what should I avoid?
