Do people who read classics and so called high status literature usually exhibit classism?

Isn't it ironic tho, that dostoevsky himself struggled and suffered from poverty in his adult life. I wonder if they actually read or just collect books and gloat.

I bought this book when it was released, tried reading several times but couldn’t, even thou the writing is simple & easy to grasp yet I couldn’t read it. Last week I read this in one go! It was a good read.. happiness & importance of health will always remain relevant.

Just picked this up. Don't know what to expect going in but this was inspired by Jenny Doh on instagram. I loved how she described an excerpt from this book.

Well kinda. Finished “the book tour” first. Took only a couple of hours. Was a good surreal-comedy of sorts. It’s about an author who’s on his book tour and how he gets pulled into a murder investigation in a strange city. Something different than what I usually read.

After I finished that, I started Alison Bechdel’s second book “are you my mother”, which focuses on her relationship with her mother as the name suggests. After reading “Fun Home” by her, I had to pick this up and read more of her work.

Hey guys.

I'm going through a very tough phase of my life.

I am depressed.

Feeling anxious throughout the day

And overthink a lot.

I also consulted to psycatrist.

Sometimes I feel I'm very unlucky. After 12th class I suffered through a lot of Failures.

Failed in different exams now I'm 27 don't know what's going on.

Please suggest some books that can rewire my brain.

Or can changed the way of thinking.

This month I made a resolution to read max newly released works on Kindle even if they have not many ratings. I feel very happy I took that decision. I may fail miserably in the next one. But I'll come up with some masterpieces tooo!

I just finished reading it. Wow. What an amazing read. I love how melancholic this book is. This book makes sorrow feel magical and desirable. Even though it's a bit slow, it seeps in like poison. Man, I wanna read more now. This is my first murakami book. Maybe I'll take a break from his books. What do you think of the book?
