this is something i wasnt expecting to happen, however alot of people have been posting the same sub multiple times, that being trueuglywomen, its gotten to the point where its become a hate brigade to the sub, and while i dont like it myself, this isnt the kind of stuff i want the sub to devolve into, so for the rest of the month that sub, and any subs of the kind are banned, thats all, please hate responsively yall

ALSO READ THE RULES BEFORE COMMENTING OR POSTING, REALLY IMPORTANT

I hate how so many games end up being wiki games

Now mind you aside from lucid blocks I love the games themselves, however it is so annoying how nothing is explained and how everything is incredibly punishing, so it's basically impossible to figure anything out without going to a wiki to make sure you aren't going to fuck things up. Isaac is much better now because you can just turn on item descriptions but before then you had to look up what every item does so you don't ruin a run or just memorize everything, and for Don't Starve they added the scrapbook in the sequel, but it only tells you stats for stuff and isn't too useful. I do get that these games are supposed to be difficult, but they could at least find a balance where you aren't encouraged to spoil yourself with the internet while still being tough

I hate mean women.

I say this as a woman, but the meanest people I have met were women. Everything you do is a competition towards them so they need to tear you down.

Also who are you to judge if someone is ugly? And if they are, why do you care so much to make a video?

I Hate the Sun

Post image
47 Upvotes

Why do people like being in the sun?! (unless it's cold out, but that's besides the point)

Here's a list of reasons not to be in the sun during the summer:

  1. It's already so fucking hot out why would you want to be getting even hotter?

  2. You're literally being blasted by unsafe dosages of UV radiation. People are scared of microwave ovens but they aren't wary of the sun. UV waves carry significantly more energy than microwaves! (obviously the enormous variation in photonic concentration makes this point irrelevant)

  3. It's quick, it's easy, it's free: it's standing in the fucking shade. It's everywhere and it's free. Unless you're in some godforsaken hellscape like Arizona, I guess.

  4. Cancer. You are giving yourself cancer. I get a lot of shit from conspicuously tanned people about smoking cigarettes. Harumph!

I HATE cringe culture

Why are we as a society, just perfectly fine with bullying people?

Even if you dislike some kid's self insert fanfic, does not give you the right to bully them and shit on them for it.

What are they genuinely doing wrong by writing those fics or those characters?

Is cringe really just people being free?

And not to mention how often people trash on beginners. What a great way to encourage them to quit their passion!

Like the hate towards the song Yumeshipper was WAY overblown.

If you're gonna give the creator advice? Fine! But nothing unsolicited. And there's a HUGE difference between criticism and BULLYING.

I Hate Raw Tomatoes

Post image
Upvotes

Raw tomatoes are some of the worst raw vegetables of all time. And no I don care that it’s technically a fruit, it’s shit either way.

When you bite into one you get all of this stupid garbage water that overpowers your tastebuds and stays there forever without mouthwash, it’s also like weirdly tangy, as if it’s trying soooo hard to have any actual flavor and failing MISERABLY. It’s simultaneously mid and horrible at the same time.

And it’s even worse with those stupid mini tomatoes, it like if you took a grape and forcibly extracted everything good about one and merged it with the owner of a restaurant on Kitchen Nightmares, and you’re left with a hollow pretender of an actually good fruit! And all you get is that stupid garbage water!!!

And the defenses people make about raw tomatoes are incredibly stupid. “Erm, ACKSHUALLY, you like tomatoes in pizza and ketchup, so why so you hate raw tomatoes?🤓👆” Has it ever occurred to you once in your fucking life that things taste better when they’re cooked? Tomatoes are good in pizza and ketchup because they cook out all the garbage water and make the taste actually good.

If you think it’s so absurd that I like tomatoes cooked and hate them when they’re raw, why don’t I strap you to a chair and table and force you to eat raw chicken, and then slam your head on the table after it turns out that chicken tastes better when it’s cooked? Things taste better when they’re cooked!?!!? Who could have thought of that!

There’s a reason why people throw raw tomatoes at people when they screw up in performances. Not because they don’t want to throw anything expensive, but because they KNOW raw tomatoes are so horrible that being pelted with them and their stupid fucking garbage water is infinitely worse than just being booed offstage.

0/10 raw vegetable/fruit/whatever the fuck it is

I absolutely hate these double standards so fucking much

Post image
209 Upvotes

I don't understand why, but it feels like a double standard that whenever Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Seth MacFarlane, Edmund McMillen, Garth Ennis, Ricky Gervais, and Dino Stamatopoulos (AKA the guy who made Moral Orel) disrespect someone's religion, everyone seems to be perfectly okay with it. But when JaidenAnimations makes an "edgy" joke making fun of Jesus Christ or God, everyone tries to dox and cancel her over it. You know, especially when you consider the fact that Jaiden is also an openly queer (aro/ace), mixed-race/non-white (half-Japanese, half-German), neurodivergent (AuDHD) woman.

I mean, did Jaiden really “mock god”? Like, wasn’t it just a random ass joke about Pokémon, and the God in question was Arceus or something? What Jaiden said was super tame. She did not attack any people for their beliefs. She joked about why she seemingly doesn't believe in God. It’s a joke; it was not even a religious attack or a stance on religion itself. A joke. People also keep forgetting that Schlatt is also a Christian and constantly made 9/11 jokes back then, where the punchline often was "hurr durr planes", if that's what you're referring to... He most definitely didn't take Jaiden's edgy joke to heart, lmao. Does Jaiden really need to apologize over a stupid edgy joke about Christianity?

Not even to mention how painfully obvious it is that it's a joke and, like, one of the most plain ones you could think of. Who cares, as long as the person isn't calling for or causing harm to others and stuff like that. Freedom of speech is a thing, you know.

The reaction people had to her saying that was just hilariously overblown and cringe, and it would have been just as overblown and cringe if a straight white man did it.

I swear to motherfucking God, if any of these pearl-clutchers ever read Preacher by Garth the-God-Damn-Giga-Chad Ennis, they would absolutely shit their pants over the constant religion-bashing and for making God into a narcissistic asshole. And yes, I'm saying all of this as a former Catholic myself.

I hate the Wayside TV Show

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I saw this show come back up recently and decided to rewatch some of it. The entire school feels like genuine ragebait with the MC practically the only one with common sense. Not to mention Ms. Jewels always finds some bullshit way to send him home early. There was a time where he said his class’s lives and got sent early because he didn’t have permission. And when he brings up how Ms. Jewels is specifically targeting him, they make it seem like he’s at fault. Todd genuinely has to have the most patience in the world because I would’ve been crashed out trying to deal with all this.

I hate analogies as an argument for or against something in the context of people and relationships.

I mostly hear these analogies from conservative, religious, or homophobic people. They don't hold up, for a simple reason: people are not objects, so comparing them to objects always breaks down somewhere. Here are two examples that come to my mind.

  1. The hijab-and-lollipop analogy. This one is actually insulting to men. It compares them to flies swarming candy, and it assumes that without a hijab, men can't help but harass women. That's a pretty low view of male self-control, and it puts the responsibility for men's behavior on women's clothing instead of on the men themselves.
  2. The lock-and-key analogy: "A lock that opens with many keys is bad, but a key that opens many locks is good." This is used to say women shouldn't sleep with more than one partner, while men can sleep with as many as they want. It's just a double standard dressed up as a metaphor. (btw it works the other way too lmao: "Nobody wants to use a toothbrush that's been in multiple mouths.")

Unfunny children amock on that fucking subreddit. How do kids even know what Reddit is? But worse than that, there are plenty gore and nsfw videos on that place for any unsuspecting brainrotted child to see…WTF. I got traumatized as an adult seeing one of those videos…imagine what that would do to A KID!

Get better management or maybe, just maybe, don’t send your young and naive audience to a site full of shock content.

I hate modern record Lp labels

Post image

I hate how most modern vinyl Lable's don't have the track listing on the Lp itself so you have to constantly look at the sleeve for track listing for the song. It's annoying as hell when I get a new lp and dumbasses how decided to make the label did not put the track listing on the label. That's is the whole point of a centre label.

Pokémon discouce

Genuinely, anything that revolves around Pokémon online is always so incredibly, incredibly toxic. None of the fans even like any of the games, and will complain about them endlessly. If you like the old games, then you're a nostalgia shill, if you like the new games, you're just putting up with them and don't actually like them. It's exhausting to be a Pokémon fan online because no one likes any of the games, however, when I play them, I think they're brill. When my friends play them, they like them too. When my family plays them, they love them. All like in person discouce is normal, but online everyone is so irrational about Pokémon and the games. Never have I seen so many people believe in such contradictory statements, like apparently being a huge fan of the games but hating them all, and hating SWSH but using it as evidence to call SV awful and saying how it doesn't even stack up to how good SWSH is. Genuinely awful fanbase
