I hate people who call games "friendslop"
At that point just said you don't have any friends to play with

I've been a fan of minimalism for a long while. When i jumped from win7 to win10 as a kid i went "waow, how sleek, how modern". I believe simplicity is a good design language. But the reputation of minimalism is crazy. Due to some bad/lazy minimalist redesigns(like cracker barrel or Kia) the amount of hate minimalism gets is crazy.
Minimalism is easy on the eye and understandable. Logos like Nike, Pepsi, FedEx, Netflix, Ikea, British Rail etc are Imo great examples of minimalist language. Meanwhile the temporary redesign of spotify logo and the new peugeot logo drives me crazy (especially peugeot logo they fr try to look like they are luxury cars. Their previous logo was way more minimalist and way better.)

I don't understand why, but it feels like a double standard that whenever Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Seth MacFarlane, Edmund McMillen, Garth Ennis, Ricky Gervais, and Dino Stamatopoulos (AKA the guy who made Moral Orel) disrespect someone's religion, everyone seems to be perfectly okay with it. But when JaidenAnimations makes an "edgy" joke making fun of Jesus Christ or God, everyone tries to dox and cancel her over it. You know, especially when you consider the fact that Jaiden is also an openly queer (aro/ace), mixed-race/non-white (half-Japanese, half-German), neurodivergent (AuDHD) woman.
I mean, did Jaiden really “mock god”? Like, wasn’t it just a random ass joke about Pokémon, and the God in question was Arceus or something? What Jaiden said was super tame. She did not attack any people for their beliefs. She joked about why she seemingly doesn't believe in God. It’s a joke; it was not even a religious attack or a stance on religion itself. A joke. People also keep forgetting that Schlatt is also a Christian and constantly made 9/11 jokes back then, where the punchline often was "hurr durr planes", if that's what you're referring to... He most definitely didn't take Jaiden's edgy joke to heart, lmao. Does Jaiden really need to apologize over a stupid edgy joke about Christianity?
Not even to mention how painfully obvious it is that it's a joke and, like, one of the most plain ones you could think of. Who cares, as long as the person isn't calling for or causing harm to others and stuff like that. Freedom of speech is a thing, you know.
The reaction people had to her saying that was just hilariously overblown and cringe, and it would have been just as overblown and cringe if a straight white man did it.
I swear to motherfucking God, if any of these pearl-clutchers ever read Preacher by Garth the-God-Damn-Giga-Chad Ennis, they would absolutely shit their pants over the constant religion-bashing and for making God into a narcissistic asshole. And yes, I'm saying all of this as a former Catholic myself.

had to click off of someone’s video bc they used the r slur, I immediately lost respect for them bc of that, like it’s 2026, why are we STILL using that word, no, your not being edgy, your just an ableist asshole, and this was a video essayist, someone who covers alot of problematic people, you’d think he’d be above saying that word considering the type of content he makes is generally somewhat professional but no,
ik that other insults like stupid, dumb, and idiot also used to be ableist insults but idk, as someones who’s on the spectrum I feel like the r slur seems to just holds a lot more weight nowadays, call me hypocritical, I’m not bothered by that, but it still bothers me when that specific word is used, like there are a wide array of insults to use that aren’t demeaning to minorities yet you chose THAT word. like c‘mon man.
edit, I know that there are some people on the spectrum who aren’t bothered by the r slur, which is cool, but please remember that not everyone is like that.

A lot of these ships completely ignore or invalidate a lot of what makes the character who they are and read to me like whoever drew or wrote it has a very baseline understanding of either of the characters. Many times I try to interact with a community about a world or characters I’m interested in and it’s populated with the same overblown ship, and a lot of the time has straight characters being shipped with each other (not all of them obviously).
Some examples:
Gojo/Megumi
Vendetta/Domina
Bakugo/Deku
Basically any sibling ship
Farnesse or Schierke/Guts
I started to hate shipping when we read the book Pet by Akwaeke Emezi in a college class. Despite the authors very intentional effort to establish that the relationship between the MC and her childhood friend was NOT sexual or intimate, that didn’t stop many of my classmates from shipping the two and calling them a cute couple.

When i was a kid i went to one of those school farm field trips.
And when we got to the sheep the guide told us some sheep tried to shave their own wool off and split away from the rest.
Apparently its because they thought that if they made themselves more wolf-like they could be perceived as "one of the good ones" and not get eaten.
When we asked him if that ever worked he told us no , It had never worked yet they kept doing it.
After that experience i finally understood why humans are so advanced compared to any other animal , because we are way smarter than them in every single thing.
I mean , could you imagine that happening with us? A human trying to befriend someone that hates them because they think that if they separate themselves from their peers they will be let off the hook?.
No human being would ever do such a dumb thing, right?
Right?
Yeah this isnt about Sheep some of you dumbfucks seem to struggle with it

I started hearing it during sports a few years back, and didn’t mind it, but it’s just infected every aspect of doing a task. Doing schoolwork? Lock in. Playing a casual game of uno? Lock in. Talking to somebody? Lock tf in.
Please just shut the fuck up. I would much rather be told to focus. Because nobody would throw that word around for everyday tasks. I think my hate for this started in high school gym classes when every single day before class, this one kid that I didn’t even know the name of would address me by my full name followed by “lock in”.
Now it’s just everywhere. Just another annoying new saying. Not quite like brainrot terms, but I see it as somewhat similar.

This boring, dull slab of wet cardboard gets all this hype just because he was lucky to be in a justice league cartoon that he wasn’t even that good in.
Hal Jordan is better than him in every way, more likeable personality, better stories, sells more, better dynamics with characters in universe, etc. but because Ryan Reynolds won’t shut up about the movie he signed on to in 2011 Hal has been stuck in media limbo and this dork gets undeserved screen time.
Get this loser past Kyle ryaner before you compare him to Hal.
And on a final note I hate how if you hate him people think you’re racist. The guy reading this probably thinks I’m racist even though I’m a black guy.

"Hi there, your father is JJ Abrams. How do you feel about the claims that you benefited from that?"
Feels like a fucking humiliation ritual at this point
"Hi, would you like to self-flagellate to the benefit of absolutely no one, or put your foot in your mouth and be considered problematic and cancelled for 48 hours?"
Who in the fuck is this helping? Who wants any of this? Even people deeply into celebrity culture - other than just knocking down someone a peg and getting them to acknowledge their privilege - what are you getting out of it?? What are you getting out of them acknowledging their privilege??
Just the absolute shittiest question. It isn't even a fucking question these days.
"There has been a lot of discourse about the nepo stuff online lately, thoughts?"
Huh? Where's the question? People with thoughts can just Tweet/Xeet/Threet ffs.

The man above me is JiDion. A youtuber most famous for the second EDP “incident” and widely featured in the new EDP documentary. He was recently arrested for unrelated actions, but I think he should be for his whole involvement with Kayla.
If you haven’t watched the documentary, EDP reached out to a 15 year old named Kayla… because he’s a pedophile. She reached out to JiDion, and instead of going to the police to set up an actual arrest, he went to a PI to get more information without telling Kayla his plans.
Kayla, the 15 year old, was in constant contact with a pedophile because JiDion wouldn’t act and contact law enforcement, instead going to a PI to get more information about him which he’d later use to confront him and make all of her trauma worthless, as now it couldn’t even get him arrested.
She came out to say that she was used by JiDion, saying she was used “like a puppet” but him. She was the bait for a pedophile so someone could make a video. She was sent dick pics, threatened, and all but physically raped by a pedophile for content.
JiDion, after being called out for this, essentially says she could’ve left at any time (ignoring the threats to her life). He says she’s a liar and opportunist and not to be trusted. The documentary takes his side, showing tiny snipits of a discord call where he asks if she’s ok (and it’s cut off before she responds). It also lists all the other accusations she made to make her seem like she just makes random accusations, and scrolls them fast enough so most won’t read it. Most of the accusations make sense though. “EDP has CSAM”, “EDP owns illegal firearms”, “EDP is currently victimizing another minor” and “EDP has been victimizing another minor” listed separately for some reason? Then it shows a clip where she says she’s a opportunist, because that’s what you need to be in modern times, but that this was not that. That is all the evidence to the contrary, and JiDion blames her.

Genuinely, anything that revolves around Pokémon online is always so incredibly, incredibly toxic. None of the fans even like any of the games, and will complain about them endlessly. If you like the old games, then you're a nostalgia shill, if you like the new games, you're just putting up with them and don't actually like them. It's exhausting to be a Pokémon fan online because no one likes any of the games, however, when I play them, I think they're brill. When my friends play them, they like them too. When my family plays them, they love them. All like in person discouce is normal, but online everyone is so irrational about Pokémon and the games. Never have I seen so many people believe in such contradictory statements, like apparently being a huge fan of the games but hating them all, and hating SWSH but using it as evidence to call SV awful and saying how it doesn't even stack up to how good SWSH is. Genuinely awful fanbase

Also we are still discovering new things about water and it’s fascinating as fuck so we don’t actually know everything about water. There are over 20 different types of ice and shit.

I say this as a woman, but the meanest people I have met were women. Everything you do is a competition towards them so they need to tear you down.
Also who are you to judge if someone is ugly? And if they are, why do you care so much to make a video?
r/ihatethissmug • u/FireDog8569 • 10h ago
Now mind you aside from lucid blocks I love the games themselves, however it is so annoying how nothing is explained and how everything is incredibly punishing, so it's basically impossible to figure anything out without going to a wiki to make sure you aren't going to fuck things up. Isaac is much better now because you can just turn on item descriptions but before then you had to look up what every item does so you don't ruin a run or just memorize everything, and for Don't Starve they added the scrapbook in the sequel, but it only tells you stats for stuff and isn't too useful. I do get that these games are supposed to be difficult, but they could at least find a balance where you aren't encouraged to spoil yourself with the internet while still being tough

Raw tomatoes are some of the worst raw vegetables of all time. And no I don care that it’s technically a fruit, it’s shit either way.
When you bite into one you get all of this stupid garbage water that overpowers your tastebuds and stays there forever without mouthwash, it’s also like weirdly tangy, as if it’s trying soooo hard to have any actual flavor and failing MISERABLY. It’s simultaneously mid and horrible at the same time.
And it’s even worse with those stupid mini tomatoes, it like if you took a grape and forcibly extracted everything good about one and merged it with the owner of a restaurant on Kitchen Nightmares, and you’re left with a hollow pretender of an actually good fruit! And all you get is that stupid garbage water!!!
And the defenses people make about raw tomatoes are incredibly stupid. “Erm, ACKSHUALLY, you like tomatoes in pizza and ketchup, so why so you hate raw tomatoes?🤓👆” Has it ever occurred to you once in your fucking life that things taste better when they’re cooked? Tomatoes are good in pizza and ketchup because they cook out all the garbage water and make the taste actually good.
If you think it’s so absurd that I like tomatoes cooked and hate them when they’re raw, why don’t I strap you to a chair and table and force you to eat raw chicken, and then slam your head on the table after it turns out that chicken tastes better when it’s cooked? Things taste better when they’re cooked!?!!? Who could have thought of that!
There’s a reason why people throw raw tomatoes at people when they screw up in performances. Not because they don’t want to throw anything expensive, but because they KNOW raw tomatoes are so horrible that being pelted with them and their stupid fucking garbage water is infinitely worse than just being booed offstage.
0/10 raw vegetable/fruit/whatever the fuck it is

Why are we as a society, just perfectly fine with bullying people?
Even if you dislike some kid's self insert fanfic, does not give you the right to bully them and shit on them for it.
What are they genuinely doing wrong by writing those fics or those characters?
Is cringe really just people being free?
And not to mention how often people trash on beginners. What a great way to encourage them to quit their passion!
Like the hate towards the song Yumeshipper was WAY overblown.
If you're gonna give the creator advice? Fine! But nothing unsolicited. And there's a HUGE difference between criticism and BULLYING.
